I only have the one kid...does that count  The other is at the grandparents for a few days. The girls needed some seperation if you know what I mean.
We don't have any either for 3 whole weeks!! :hurray: FYI: You'd better call before you stop by..............
Sheri, I am so glad you had a good time. You deserved it. Others, I have been without my daughter for a little over a week and now I am getting lonely to see her face. Cannot wait for her to come home. I was glad for her to go and me to get some alone time...but am ready for alone time to be gone now. Sherry
Welcome to my world, gotta love it:hurray::hurray::hurray: j/k, love my kids and grandkids but when it is finally just the two of ya most the time, life is good:lol:
Now, don't get me wrong ya'll. I love love love my boys and love being a soccer mom..> BUT when you've had 10 - 15 kids at your house EVERYDAY from 12:00 - 5:00 for a whole week!!!!!:shock: You just feel like :boxing: whew....I needed this break.
Everybody needs alone time, even kids. If I don't get at least a week's worth of alone time during the year I feel drained. I pamper myself. I get a massage, take a day where I don't get out of my pajamas and I eat junk food all day long. Just a few wonderful things I do with my alone time. Seems our house is like yours. Kids/teens are always coming over and hanging out, which is wonderful...but a mama needs some time to herself sometimes. Sherry
i know girl, i loved it too when i was in the middle of it, but i also love just me and DH time too (don't count youngest DS, don't see enough of him to feel like he's around between him working full time and going to school). Now when he officially moves out, i have a feeling i am gonna go into the empty nest syndrome really bad. The last one leaving, ya know:cry:
I'm Jealous. Three of them left on Saturday morning and one made her way back at 11PM that night! She couldn't just wait till they all came home on Sunday.
