My parents use some sort of flea bath. I think it's by Hartz (?) the brand that makes the flea collars. They mix it in the laundry tub, and dunk the cats. They swear by it. The one cat spends a lot of time outdoors and they only have to treat him once a year. It does take 2 people though, and they wrap in towels after to avoid all the scratching.

A friend of mine started bathing her cat when she was a kitten and still til this day just sits in the sink while my friend baths her. Believe me I thought she was crazy when she told me that.

Yeah.. alot of cats, if you start bathing them regularly and at a young age, they get used to it. Even if they don't like it, they do tolerate it a little better. MIL gives her cat baths, washes his face every morning, clips his "meat hooks" once a week, he takes it all very well and they've been doing it since they found him as a dirty little kitten.

That is so sweet that she washes his face every morning. I'm gonna get brave this weekend and try to bathe her. I'll report back on Monday (if she hasn't scratched my eyes out).

Just wondering how the bath went Michelle. Want to make sure you have survived.

LoL. I haven't gotten that brave yet.

I bought some of the stuff mentioned on here earlier, I think it's Scorpion or zodiak or something like that. I put that one her once and we have not seen any more fleas. The pack I bought has 3 more treatments in it and I'm supposed to do one a month.

I will do whatever I have to so that I don't have to give her a bath. My whole family has SCARS all over us from her jumping and playing with us. You would think we had a 75 lb. tiger at home instead of a 2 lb. kitty!
