There was a report on 20/20 (i think it was 20/20) The subject was on attractive vs unattractive kids. The report found that parents were less likely to watch their own children if the kids were unattractive. And the more attractive a child was the closer the parent watched them. It showed kids wandering off in stores and what not. Then there was this panel of people and kids who decided who was cute and who wasn't.

Silly research....Probably. Who doesn't care about their kids? But sometimes you have to wonder. Anyway, my point is, Every time I see kids off by themselves I think to myself 'Their parent must not think they are very pretty'.

Please don't ask me to find this story cause it was years ago and I'm just not gonna. :mrgreen:

CLEO! did the same thing to me the other day when I tried to post on the snake in garage thread. talk about being paranoid.....boy I was!! :shock:

 

I got that screen for the whole 4042 site a while back. For about 2 days I couldn't get on here. I was so lost... I almost called a support group.

And EASY!!

Put sliced/cut cukes in ice water for 3 hours, drain

3qts white vinegar
3 cups sugar
1 cup salt
mus-My Friend seed

bring to boil

Pour over into jars or tupperware

Can, fridgerate, whatever... ENJOY!!!

 

Got beef ribs in the slow cooker & gonna throw them on the grill this evening! OMG I cannot wait!

 

Got country ribs in mine. I dunno about the grill, that's why I did the crock. I have slow cooked in the oven before and moved to the grill for basting.

Good gracious, look what happens around here in 2 days. Been working much too hard. No 4042 time!

THis cracked me up -= how many times have we all been forced to say "Oh How cute!' when we really wanted to say..."thanks Goodness that's not mine!" usually followed in your own head by, "Gee I hope He/She grows out of it".....
