Does anyone know of another trash company for the local area. I live in close to 42/50. They have the worse customer service I have ever experienced!

they have THE BEST customer service, hands down. I forgot to roll my trash out, not once, but twice, and he came by on an off day and got mine....no problem.

We use Advantage Waste and have been very happy with them. Their rates did just increase to add a fuel charge, my most recent bill is $60/qtr now. But with these gas prices, its understandable. Heck 2 years ago I was paying $64/qtr with Waste Management. I wonder what my prices with them would be now!

If you decide to try them, PM me, If you give them my name that I referred you, after a couple of referrals I get a free months service.

Allstar rocks in the Cleveland area, we have been using Tommy's company ever since it went into business and you cannot possibly beat the customer service they extend:hurray:

We use Allstar as well. In over two years they have never missed us and one time when I forgot to take my trash out I called and Tommy sent another truck that was in the area out to pick up our trash. I did not even ask him to pick it up, I was just calling to see if they had already been through our subdivision. He offered to come get it and I was very impressed! Any time I have talked to him he has been extremely professional and friendly. They just went up on their rates due to gas prices. If you pay online it is $60 per quarter. I think it is $63 if you don't pay online.

i pay by the year and it is a lot better savings plus he usually runs a coupon in the clipper for $10 off for both new and old customers.

Yeppers... I was just looking at their rates. If you pay the full year in advance, you save $15, and it locks your rate in for the year. So if there is another price increase due to rising fuel costs, it wouldn't hit you until next year.

Def. agree with Brocks! They place the trash can where they found it and not in the middle of the driveway! They still come on holiday weeks, and they have great customer service!!! :hurray::hurray:

ALL the local trash companies can kiss my grits. No one would come down a dirt drive - even with a million miles to turn around. Said I had to get the stuff to the road....
I am not economically feasible. So much for for home town help...

Now I have a Company called Junk - B - Gone come get it. THank you guys!

Why wouldn't you haul your own??? Get a sticker and take it to the remote dump.

Yes, it is way cheaper this way. $65/year for a sticker for your vehicle and it is for a whole year. I believe there is a limit of one load per week, and there are a few locations in Johnston County:

It just makes sense, and saves a lot of money.

it is cheaper, but its not convenient for me and I dont have a truck to carry stinky trash in. I don't even know where the dern dump is. But if I had a truck and if I went by there on my daily running around, I can see where it would work out.

We had a dump sticker up until they moved it out of the 50/210 intersection. also i don't have a pickup anymore. my heep is for wheelin', not hauling refuse.

the company we used just got bought by allstar, so i guess we shall see how allstar is.

I just saw a banner at the top of the page...if you call Advantage Waste and mention that you saw their ad here, you get an extra $5 off. It's not much, but every little bit helps!

  18. I think it is all in who you talk to and how you talk to them. The problem is when you call a business now all of the customer service is rude because they answer the phones in another state. That is what is so sad.

Ummm.. only the big companies.. Advantage Waste is locally owned and operated and the woman who works in the office is very nice on the phone all the time. Or atleast all the times I've spoken with her.
