Okay, I'm pretty good at the decorating thing as I'm an HGTV addict. Anyway, I've done a couple of rooms in my house and my gf (who's Mom is a decorator) tells me that I missed my calling...LOL Now if I can just find the time, etc. to do my kitchen and bedroom...uggg Anyway, a good idea for the logs is two things (please don't use wall paper, that's an ugly word to me) You can probably go to a logging company (or the woods) and get some outter part of the tree (bark with a tiny bit of flat tree left to it) cut and fix that to the part of the wall you want it. OR you can buy pvc pipes get them cut in half and do some faux textures on them to look like bark.
I've already got the wall part/paint figured out, girls, but thanks... I appreciate all the other ideas though, you guys have given me some great ideas! :hurray: I'm getting excited!
Yes, Home Goods is another idea, where is there one in Cary, at Crossroads? Haven't been there in ages, is there one over by BJ's somewhere? What about in Raleigh, I'm going up on Glenwood tonight, is there one over there someplace? I know everyone always says Ross and TJ Maxx, but I never have much luck in those two stores. When I'm not looking for things, I see stuff, but when I'm looking, there's nothing I want.
You could also try www.lakeside.com. I get a book from them several times a year, they tend to have "cabin" themed items sometimes. Not bad prices either.
Yep, love Lakeside, I've got a couple things on order from them. Collections etc also, but not much fishing stuff there right now.
