What: GCAA 2008 Fall Rec Soccer Walk-in Registrations When: Saturday, July 12, 2008 --- 9 am - Noon Thursday, July 17, 2008 --- 6 pm - 9 pm (online registrations continue through July 19) Where: Ag Building (building behind gym) on GCAA complex Who: You will only need to stop by during one of the walk-in registration times if you need to pay with cash (please bring exact change) or check when you registered online or if we require a birth certificate for your child. We have many birth certificates on file. If we do not have one for your child then please bring a copy (not the original because we need to keep the copy that you bring). We also need several coaches, especially for U06 and U08 teams. We have quite a few kids on the waitlist right now. Without coaches, the kids can not play. If you coach, then your child is guaranteed a spot on your team. Additional Important Information: Online Registrations will continue until July 19, 2008. There will be no late registration (no exceptions). All registrations will be done via our website. (This is a direct link for soccer information and registrations: http://www.gcaasoccer.com) During our walk-in registrations we will have a limited number of computers available for you to use to register your child to play using this same website. Our registration system will allow you to register your child and at the end of the process you may pay with a Mastercard or Visa or you may select to "Pay In Person." If you choose to "Pay In Person" you will need to bring cash or check to a walk-in registration, failure to pay during the walk-in registration or by credit card online before July 19 will result in your registration being canceled and your child will not be able to participate this season. The registration process is not considered complete until payment has been received. We expect walk-in registrations to be VERY busy and recommend that you use our website to register and pay with a credit card (a very safe transaction). However, if you prefer to pay with cash or check in person then use the website to complete the registration and at the end of the process select "pay-in-person" and then come to the walk-in registration to pay. Thanks, Jeff Martin GCAA Rec Soccer Chairperson

Another ????, My daughter is also in another activity and has never played soccer before. What day do they play and how many times? She is 4 yrs old. Would like to know before I register Thanks
they practice one day a week, you don't find out what evening it is until you're assigned a coach, and the only day you play games is saturday, one game per weekend, anytime from 8-4. only exception is if you get rained out, then they either make one up during the week or (gasp!) on a sunday afternoon, but they try not to do that.
sorry for alot of questions....this is my dd's 1st time playing. I know we will be gone for the 1st 3 weeks of August....so you think practice will start when school starts.
Hey Ro..I have my son signed up for the first time too with the U4 league. I THINK!!! I can't be positive nor did I look it up but I believe practice starts the week of 8/18.
Mine will turn 4 in 2 weeks so that will make her in U6...right. She may have to miss her first practice already.
you should be fine. Last year they didn't start until September!! But it was late. You'll be gone for 3 weeks???? Wow! Anyway, you won't miss much, if anything maybe the first practice. We're not doing soccer this season, but have done it for the last 3, so I haven't paid much attention to it this time around. We'll be doing t-ball and baseball though, so I'm a newbie at that if anyone has any pointers for me...My boys are very excited about that!
I just say 3 weeks... see how it goes because I will be in a house with both my mom and grandma.....it gets kinda crazy at times. My parents has a beach house in southern NJ (where my grandma lives now) I only see her once a year and it gives her some time with the great grand kids. God ....keep a watch over me and give me patience
OK- just tore the house apart and one sons birth certificate is AWOL. I filled out the paper work for a new one and faxed it, but I wont have it by tomorrow!!! I have the "mother's copy" that is not certified but is signed... would that work until we get the certified one in the mail? Can we scan them in and fax/email them to someone? I am moving a horse tomorrow morning and will not be in town.
there is a waiting list My parents wants to pay for their grandaugher's soccer (which its fine with me since I have to pay for dance) They are going to register online today.
There is a wait list every season, but there has never as far as I know been kids turned away. Although, you or her father might have to become a coach. Usually last minute enough coaches step up to the plate.
R U NUTS......I don't know a thing about soccer.....LOL I wouldn't know how to handle all those kids....I'd go bunkers
