DH is going to DAYTON, OHIO for work soon. He's looking for GOOD PLACES to EAT. Anyone have any FIRST HAND Experience visiting or living in DAYTON? Yes, I know why, why, DAYTON???? I can hear you asking...No time for sight seeing or that kind of fun -> just dinner meals out somewhere good.
Used to live in Cincinnati & Wilmington, Ohio areas and Corperate offices were in Dayton. My favorite place, and still go to whenever I am in the area is Gold Star Chili, and if I can't go there Skyline Chili. I heard about Skyline Chili on Food Network, I bet its good. We have a place back home in Oklahoma called Ike's Chili and it looks very similar! Good stuff!!

Definitely an aquired taste (that I never quite aquired! ) I got him down here and he's LOVING eastern NC barbeque! (now, I just have to get him to love sweet tea...)
Spaghetti Warehouse is Great. I ate at the one in Tampa Fl. and Philadelphia (where I am originally from). Food is excellent.
:iagree: i am from northern KY, right across the river from cinci. everytime we go home we have a three way and a coney AND stock up to bring it back with us!!
I second the Spaghetti Warehouse, of course I haven't eaten there since I was 13... but I still hear it is good.
Thought about more.... Across the river in KY York Street Cafe in Newport and Germantown Pizza in Latonia. YUM!!!
