sounds more like they inserted the word "neither" in error. Based on the local story, it would make more sense that way.

They "corrected" the article on the ABCNews site. It now says "Investigators said they believe that Cooper's murder Saturday was neither an "isolated incident" nor a "random act of violence.""

It will be interesting to see which article wins.

it is sad. But IF what the parents are saying, it may be in the best interest of the children right now. He is under alot of stress

i'm sorry, but i thought this morning's news conference was pathetic. the police chief of cary came out and relayed a request from the family for people to tie ribbons on their trees? is that the job of the cary police chief? and then she introduced them like they were celebrities on the tonight show? if they had something to say, let them say it or their lawyer. it's not the job of the cary police to take these people under their wings and see to it that they have press conference time, or for the cary police chief to speak for them on non-police matters like ribbon-tying. the only thing she said that really fell under her jurisdiction was 1) i will not be taking questions, and 2) we heard about the custody thing and to anticipate your question, no, cary police had nothing to do with it. other than that, everything she said was not her place. embarrassing for the whole world to be watching that and know that that's how they think we do things here. yet another example of why i don't go to cary unless i'm getting paid to do so.

My husband said that he heard that on the radio about the bleach. I haven't seen anything about it on the news.....yet. Probably just missed it when it came on though.
