anyone know when/where locally one is being held? I have finally finished up with my old business and need to get rid of all my old folders/files...
I didn't see anything! http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...=&as_occt=any&cr=&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&safe=images I typically shred about 4,000 pages a quarter for business reasons and just bought a cheap shredder at Staples that can handle 25 pages at a shot. With all the credit card apps I get it is nice to have it around for personal purposes.
shred Johnston County Industries (now located in Selma, old Eaton building) has starting shredding stuff for other folks. I do not know how much they charge. You can call Thomas at 743-8700 (just ask for Thomas). Hope this helps
I use a shredder for personal papers, too. I burned up several shredders getting rid of old office papers, though, so if it's like several file cabinets full, you might want to find a place that does it commercially. One thing I did learn is that they get pretty hot, so it works better if you only shred for a few minutes at a time and then let the shredder cool off.
Yea, I have lateral files full of stuff and already burned up my old one and did get a new one but still have lots to do. Am lazy and my back hurts!!! will give Thomas a call to see if they can help! Thanks.
Just tore mine apart this morning for getting ambitious (shredded about 40 pages instead of the 24 max) I have little bits of paper now in places that would get me banned. The room looks like it snowed! :x
I hate shredding. Got a ton of it that needs doing. Freaking pre-approved credit cards. How many do they think a family needs???? Grrr!
I think it would be great if they would have a shred it day in the cleveland area. I know I have a bunch of old files that I would like to get rid of too. My mom lives in AZ and the city she lives in has a shred it day twice a year.
I would think that the group to pull this off might be the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce. You might suggest it to them.
