ooooh, good idea! Do you know which ones take them? I usually give mine to my sister who is a wildlife rehabber, but right now she is slow since it's not "squirrel and bunny" season.
I know the spca of wake takes them. You can just drop them off on the loading dock out back! Your sis does wildlife? Is she local? I do too!! We have a good yahoo group if she is interested. It is nice to bounce ideas off others who are doing the same thing. Squirrels are not far off, I keep holding my breath waiting for the phone to start ringing! I had to take my number off the list last season, I had 17 squirrels and tons of bunnies all at once! Yikes.
