This could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it, but it seems as though lately in my subdivision there has been a lot more police around. Is there a website or something that I can locate the Clayton police logs?

I worked for a law firm in Raleigh and we had to call to find out the calls that had come in for a specific area and we were able to get a list of them (and I didn't mention that hubby is a cop so anyone could do it). This was Raleigh, but I can't see why it would be different for Clayton except that it is a smaller town. Worth a shot just giving them a call. I'm sure someone would be happy to help you out.

  3. I thought it was just me!!!!!!!!!! Running errands this weekend I saw a Town of Clayton officer parked at Glen Laurel Road and Hwy 42; then driving down Glen Laurel Road saw another one sitting just inside of a new development; two more that afternoon doing "drive bys" in the neighborhood.

Thanks Hught! I actually had found that page, but I was hoping to find more details of all the calls, but I do appreciate your input.

Sometimes they use areas for 'practice/training' purposes - like on 50 at Bethel Church, could be something like that?

I know that the list showed what type of call it was i.e. breaking and entering etc., what officer responded and I think the address, but you couldn't get more details than that without going through legal channels. If you can at least get that much info you're probably good though and can get an idea of what they're doing.
