As much as you'd like to divert the thread from the subject, a better question might be: Why doesn't Syria ask its poodles to stop raining Iranian-supplied rockets on Israel, and why don't the Europeans ask them to do so as a sign of "restraint"?
But as they sat, indecisive, making concessions for "peace in our time", Hitler gained strength. It's quite possible that a few years from now, Israel may be going after terrorists supplied by a nuclear Iran.
How many here even acknowledge the terrorist base for Israel? The years prior to the formation of an independent Israel saw it under the control of the British and being fought by terrorists who wished to drive them out. Are they the "freedom fighters" or "terrorists" now or then? How did they change? Is it only Islamic terrorists that are to be villified? So many questions and so very few good answers .... http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/History/King_David.html http://www.wsws.org/articles/2003/jun2003/irae-j21.shtml
Not anti-semetic just being honest about the situation. The historical fact speak for themselves and they point out the beginning of Israel involved terrorist actions. That does not excuse the attacks on Israel by the Arab league, or make the Israeli position any less legal or correct, but it does point out that the terrorist today may not be called a terrorist tomorrow, even if they are in the Middle East.
And now the media proclaim that Americans will be evacuated on a cruise ship because the Islamic Fascists don't attack cruise ships. Apparently, they have the attention spans of gnats: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Achille_Lauro The information about Abu Abbas is especially enlightening....
What do you think of Obadiah Shoher's views on the Middle East conflict? What do you think of Obadiah Shoher's views on the Middle East conflict? One can argue, of course, that Shoher is ultra-right, but his followers are far from being a marginal group. Also, he rejects Jewish moralistic reasoning - that's alone is highly unusual for the Israeli right. And he is very influential here in Israel. So what do you think? uh, here's the site in question: Middle East conflict
Are you sure that you are not him trying to make a name for yourself? I see the entry in Wikipedia got deleted and a few other sites asked who is was and no one seems to know.

Basically, this person registers for a board and posts this same question all over the place - this one is from Dec. http://www.wutang-corp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41351
Since the Middle-East conflict has taken on a new flavor since I started this thread I thought I would revisit it with a link to a very sobering NY Times article. Please let me know where you think this conflict is heading and where do you stand. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/18/opinion/18morris.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1 Pastor G www.calvaryfaith.com
I think that Israel is going to start a war and is going to drag the US into it to our detriment. I am no fan of Israel, or any group who thinks they have a special privilige over every one else. Whether or not they are the "chosen people" does not give them the right to impose themselves where they are not wanted.
