Yea, been there twice and both times the food was not good and the service same. It's a shame because they spent a ton of money building that place..
Sounds like Chops needs a visit from Gordon Ramsey. If you've ever watched Kitchen Nightmares (the British version, NOT the horrible US one) you know what I'm talking about. He'll go into some restaurant that is failing, one that still thinks it can charge top dollar, and set the management straight. Here's a good example. *Not censored, so be aware of the language. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9R4MGmC8FPc
OH MY GOSH. I would die if Gordon Ramsay was in town. I love him!! (Yes, it's a bit stalkerish, but ever since Hell's Kitchen came on I've adored him). I need to figure out how to submit Chops for Kitchen Nighmares!!! Great idea :hurray:
Where is the best place to get prime rib? I love that! Had some a while ago -last year at texas steak house and that was pretty good as I recall.....
I know, there's just something about that man that makes the ol' heart do a little pitter patter here too. Hmm, maybe it's when he changes into his chef shirt.
well i would say Carver's Creek, had it last month at a seminar and it was great but since they just closed down, guess that is pretty useless info:lol:
Kaci - what have we told you about drinking and smoking stuff during the day..lol - just kidding..... Can I get a place that is open? Or at least planning to be? Maybe one that still has FOOD? U B Silly. who said you weren't a natural Blonde...... love ya!
McKinleys does a prime rib special every friday night, I think its good. I'm pretty sure you get prime rib, broccoli and choice of starch for $13.99 or $14.99.
it was a joke girl, referring to the fact that you were the one looking for a steak:lol: ok, so maybe the blond bleach is bleeding into my brain, huh:lol:
I got ya - fear not....!!!! My peppercorns, the one with four legs and a tail, would devour a steak a lot quicker then I ever could! I want one for me though. Maybe I'll bring her the leftovers - if there are any..lol
We go a lot for Sunday brunch, and it has always been great. The price is definitely worth the food. It's all you can eat, plus you can order a plate from 5 or 6 different items. Homemade desserts. Roast beef carved, cooked to order omelets. Wonderful for Sunday brunch. We did go for dinner twice when they first opened, and hated it, but I will definitely be going back for brunch.
