My BF and her DH are going. The tickets were $75, dress and tux $200, hotel $150 and the alcohol and food isn't even included. She tried to get us to go with her, but I said I went to three proms in HS and that was more than enough. I can understand why she wants to go though, she has never been to a prom.

 

Well, I'm still trying to win some, but....

Found someone that can't go, and is going to sell me her two tickets for $100 if I can't win some.

DH will wear his dress blues. I have a dress I can wear if I can't get my hands on something I like better, and we're not renting a room.

As far as food and alcohol, we'll be the rednecks in the parking lot with a brown bag, lol....

I posted this jokingly, but I actually got a sponsor! YAY!!!!! I love my 4042 peeps, esp this one. We might get into some heated debates, and sometimes just arguing and flaming but you could not ask for a nicer bunch of folks or a nicer community overall. 4042/Cleveland School ROCKS! Thank you!!

Now, I am off to hang some laundry on the line and process more tomatoes... I am so sick of processing tomatoes, the end result is worth it - but I am just sick of seeing tomatoes.

 

Hubby is still looking for a sponsor...I think its crazy that they need a sponsor for 4 year olds...I can understand for the older groups...oh well.

When did you all find out your teams? I am still waiting to hear which one my son is on.

 

Drinking is always better in pairs, bring your bathing suit and stop by the house. I think I'm gonna spend my evening in the back yard. :cheers:

 

Splinters suck.

 

My husband found out this morning and he will be calling the parents to introduce himself, etc.

 

I read somewhere that a quick way to remove splinters is to use a piece of tape.
