Up and Away closed/sold but I am not sure if the new people are doing drop off. (and see above, I forgot my OWN sons age!!) Maybe Morgan's gym will start Friday play dates again soon, that was fun.
OOOO I need a drink too. Let's forget the kids (no matter how old they are)and we will have a playdate with some margaritas.

My oldest son has to be at the orthodontist's in Raleigh at 4:20 on Thurs. That takes up my day from 3:30 to 5:30 or so. Is there something you guys usually do? I don't want to horn in on anyone's playgroup.
Oh no, there's nothing we usually do. We just happen to know each other away from the board. By all means join in. I think the play group idea kinda fizzled here, but I'm always looking for more children for my son to interact with.
My poor little boy needs some playmates. None of my friends have children close to his age. My other children are so much older that they are always out and about. I am bored and so is he. We are home most days unless someone has an appointment. I feel like he is too isolated. We go out to the park but haven't had any luck finding a regular playmate. How old is your son?
Sorry Brea, I wish I could have made it. I could not sleep last night. Finally drifted off about 6am. Was just getting up at 9.
My son is 3.5. He's my only one and I think playtime with mama and daddy is getting a little old for him:lol:
Ohh, I'm sorry you didn't sleep. I hate when that happens! It was so nice outside this morning. Can't believe it's August! I'm still up to going to the park on Friday morning if anyone is game.
PT lost his glasses (ugggg) so we have opt appointment at 10:15 and then I think I am going to go to the mall and hit Lenscrafters so he doesnt have to wait. So most of the day is blown!
I haven't read the entire thread. So forgive me if there is something already on. Been busy w/ kids and urgent care(injuries)--LOL. However, I know there's not really a set thing so thought I'd throw this out as I usually have a housefull here anyhow. We're here all week. I know it is supposed to rain tomorrow but if anyone wants to bring their kids out for a swim Thursday, Friday or whenever, just let me know. We have a 27' above ground. Also, a swingset, trampoline, rope swings and probably whatever toher kid activity you can think of. Maybe bring some of the older kids over as well. I have a wide range of ages here. So, anyone up to going swimming later this week? I could maybe cookout some hotdogs for everyone. Let me know. Or, we can organize it next week when it may be a bit hotter out. Any takers??? My daughter is 2-1/2 and my son is 5. I plan to be there if I am not too exhausted from my training the next 2 days.
