    I have met Michelle when I gave her some avon stuff a few months ago. I haven't met anyone else yet. I will try and look for everyone. There are some pictures of me on here: www.myspace.com/raleighangel81

    Ok, I'm already home...so I'll head back up that way shortly. I'll have on jeans and a black & white top with black flip flops. I'm also meeting a girl that was my best bud in high school there. We're meeting outside too at 6:30. I'm so excited!! This will be fun (until I step on those scales)....:?

    Ok so who went and how was it? Sorry i didn't make it I really wanted too but with it being the first day my kids had to tell me all about it!!!!!

    Me, Sassygurl, and Kaci ended up going. There were a LOT of people there...wow. Of course Kaci and I had to get at the back of the line twice since we were new. LOL

    Sassygurl lost some more weight last night!! :hurray:

    I weighed almost as much as my Durango does.

    Kaci is a toothpick.... guess that's about it! :mrgreen:

    Yeah right, i wish:lol: And you have not put on the weight you described and can i please borrow a few gorgeous inches of your height:) Sassy was cool, fun to meet and Mgrl, you can always join us next time, they aren't having it there next Monday cause it is Labor Day but we were talking about going to another meeting one night next week at a different location. For you other guys that have joined, which route are you taking, the Core or the Flex - i got a lotta crap to read and figure this all out:lol:

    It was great meeting you guys!

    To everyone that didn't go but wants to go next week, due to the holiday the Monday meetings are canceled. You can go to another meeting in a different location on another day of the week if you want. On Wednesday at 6:30 the meetings are held at the Garner United Methodist Church off Vandora Springs RD. On Thursday night at 6:30 the meetings are held at the Clayton Womens center. If you go to weightwatchers.com you will see other meetings listed. There are a ton of them each week.
    Look forward to seeing more of ya there!

    Kaci, I'm starting off trying the Flex. I started this morning. If I don't feel like it's going too great, I might switch to the Core plan next week. I'd like to hear from others who have tried both. Which worked the best for you and why?


    Sassy, which one are you going to next week???

    Since I'm a picky eater, Kaci, I'm doing the Flex plan ... it's easier for me to pick out my own foods and learn to eat them in moderation and correct portions. I had one whole successful day yesterday, YAY!!!! I stuck to my allowed points the whole day! (I started yesterday .. today is Day 2 *grin*).

    Am eating some Weight Watchers yogurt right now as I'm typing ... Cherry Cheesecake flavored. Tastes yummy ... only one point! Had oatmeal for breakfast ... I LOVE oatmeal ... two points! =)

    i did the flex when i lost the weight i did. I would have borounds in the am or a egg mcmuffin and a kids meal hamburger for lunch then like chicken and LOTS of veggies for dinner!!!! lots of the 0 points veggies LOL.

    Yeah, baby carrots are 0 points!! Yum!! Fun to nibble on, and 'free'!

    I think brocolli and green beans are too! Yum Yum I lost about 20 + pounds in 2 months and quit like a BIG DUMMY!!!!!!!!!!

    Flex is the way to go.

    Elims, yep baby carrots are free. So are pickles and there is a microwave popcorn by Orville Red. that's free too.

    Thanks for the good info JenK, this is so weird for me as the last time i really lost weight was on the lowcarb plan and things like carrots and popcorn were taboo, i guess that stuff stuck in my head, gotta do some mental readjusting now:lol: Elims, good luck on yours, i haven't gone to the grocery store yet, but i had some of my Activa yogurt at home and it is one point too, so did that for breakfast and now gotta flip through that book to find out what i can do for lunch. On the point thing, i am supposed to do 20 points a day (dang even get punished in points for my age and job:evil:), but the 35 bonus points, do you split those throughout the week or use them up in like say the Labor Day cookout? Am i understanding correctly that i can also use them for um, my Captain:)

    You can use the flex anyway you want. I only get 18 points per day, so I tend to need them daily so I don't feel too deprived. You can use them all on one day if you so choose.

    You can split them up OR use them in 1 day. My DH use to laugh at me bc i would save them up for my bud light on the weekends LMAO

    Dang I feel for you guys. I get 33 points a day. I would starve if i got only 18 points. :drool:

    I am doing flex. I have never done core before since I am a picky eater. At least I can pretty much have everything I want just in moderation. Today has been a good day so far. We had a meeting at work and they ordered from jason's deli. I got a salad and some fruit. Of course the salad wasn't all that healthy when you add the cheese and dressing but it was yummy and I plan on doing some major walking and working out when I get home. I have a new puppy and she loves to walk! :cool:

    I think I will go to the one at the Garner Methodist since it is the same leader. I don't think i will be going tomorrow since it has only been 2 days. I will go next wednesday.
