Have my boys come over. I swear they find all kinds of bugs! They catch crickets, frogs, lizzards, wasps(don't ask!), etc. You name it, they can find it. --LOL.

    Good luck.

I see Stephanie beat me to it, but I was gonna suggest invite my son over, he can catch (and find) anything that's alive, any kind of animal, critter, bug, amphibean, reptile, you name it! Seriously, no matter where it is, how far away, doesn't matter. It amazes me still.

He would love it! One night last summer he, myself and hubby were on the back porch having a conversation. We thought he was completely involved in the convo with us, until suddenly out of the blue he says "hey, look at that ----" (whatever it was, cricket, lizard, frog?) on the playground. The playground was about 100 ft away, it was getting dark, and the playground is dark, but he still saw something on it, and went and caught it. He catches flies and butterflies too. He doesn't hurt them, but he catches them...His favorites are lizards and frogs though.

It's the Democratic Cricket Convention, just wait a day or so, they'll go away.

Crickets are omnivores. Sticky paper and some food on it works.

Let a couple of geckos run free in your house. You'll never see them again but you won't ever see any crickets or roaches, either.

We pinpoint where it is.....in our bottom cabinet under the sink (but its kinda connected with another cabinet) He can't last that long in there.

    Well??? What's the status report??

I don't know what's going on at my house, but I have seen the BIGGEST bugs here this last week! 2 days ago I saw an ant (red) probably 1/2" long (no kidding!), then yesterday I saw this HUGE spider, the body alone without the legs was probably at least 1/2" around, if not more! And with the legs, it was HUGE! I almost took a picture it was so big, I didn't think anyone would believe me. My kids did see the ant, so they believed me, and my husband saw it smooshed in the driveway, but no one except my 5 yo saw the spider, and he ran the other way when he saw it. My 8 yo would have wanted to catch it if he had seen it. We must be feeding these bugs something good around here though! Maybe the spiders are eating those big ants!!
