Ok the place I was using closed. I need affordable and quick alterations on several pairs of pants, a skirt, and if possible I need a jacket totally reworked -it's too BIG! i will be a good customer since I am 4'11".
I don't mind someone who works out of home just need to be legit and good.

    Anybody?

There is a place in Garner off 5th ave (I think) name Ho's tailer. I have taken several things to the in the past and never had a problem. Can't remember exactly, but I am sure the prices weren't bad. I haven't used them in maybe a year, so no recent experiance.

Is that the one by the Arbys on hwy 70? If so, I have been there a few times. They were ok, but there were a few things that he did for me that did not impress me. A couple of friends of mine use them and raved about them. Maybe it is me...I might be too picky???

I use Ho's and never had a problem with them, I think they're reasonably priced and they're usually fast!

Yes, very close to the arby's. Maybe not you at all, maybe they has an off day or maybe a different person. To my knowledge it is a husband and wife.

I have used the Cleaners behind McDonalds for alterations before and they did a good job. I had several pairs of pants and a linen dress hemmed there. I think they are a family owned business and the lady in there is the one that does them, she's really nice and has a big sewing room in there. Great prices too!

Yes, she is very sweet and was very nice, however I found her to be a little steep in the price department.
