I had a partial season ticket package when they were in GREENSBORO. It was only 6 games but man that was a LONG ways for a young dude. I hated to see Cole go but we needed a puck moving defenseman badly. I got a bad feeling though the Washington Ovechkins and TB are going to be tough in our division much less the conference.
Who woulda thought a mullet man and a short bus rider would have so much in common. Now I am not putting down the short bus. I too have had my short bus moments. I can't speak about the mullet though. Never had one. Richie Rich you said you can birds chirpin i think i hear Louie Armstrong's What a Wonderful World playing in the background. Nope, wait that's Pink Floyd, Another Brick in the Wall.
Losing Cole was a hard pill to swallow, but I think given the timing it had to be done. Cole seemed to be on a downhill slope (due to playing through injuries, I'm sure) and every team in the league had learned to counter his patented deke-move along the boards... so why not trade him while he still had some value coming off the Cup season. We also had a huge hole defensivley, so this was certianly a good trade for us. Still hate to see him go.
Hey Turtlepits, nice ink. But what is a turtle pit? Is is somewhere turtles can go hang out, drink a couple of cold Coors Light?
Don't let me inspire you too much... you'll end up with a couple a tailgates leaning against the shed and a fine collection of duct tape to boast of. lol
I understand, sometimes drinks can do that. Sometimes they can just get involved ontheir own. Bad drinks, bad drinks.
I love the Road Trip movie. They stole a short bus from a school for the blind.........lol. No I'm just jonesing for hockey season. Go Canes!
Naw, I've been reading the boards for a few months. One day it dawned on me, in many ways I feel like I know some of you but you never had a chance to meet me... so here I am.
Well losing his Bro just devastated him. But now he's married with a kid so maybe he'll be more focused. The amount of poon he got in Raleigh back in the day is the stuff of legend.
Nope, not new around here. Been here all my life. Stumbled across this a few months ago. I was looking for anyone else that was going through a speech delay/possible autism for my son. Met some great people on here. Now I just keep coming back for more. Nice to meet you.
Alright NOW you and UNCFan are talk'in! Snuff and I would invite ya over to our trailer to watch a game, but, well....um...we don't live in a trailer! Don't feel bad RR, (can I call ya RR? :lol, I too used to be a Rangers fan. They used to have their practice camp in my hometown, got to watch them and The Great One for free. Can't beat that. But since I've moved here I root for the home team! Where I'm from we didn't have our own NHL team so I was stoked when I got here.
