But it appears that missing Florida tot Caylee is dead. http://www.abcactionnews.com/mostpopular/story.aspx?content_id=29fb2776-500a-4c12-a0d0-8aecc90ddc61
 They need to revoke her bail and haul her butt back to jail. I have been following this story for awhile now...Poor baby. She reminds me of the other lil missing girl...Madeline McCann. They both have those big brown eyes.
Shameful but not surprising. Let us hope she is resting peacefully. Now, what's the skinny about a police officer getting fired for denying a relationship with mama?
I read on foxnews that apparently the cop in question had met the mother at a party in the past, didn't really say what type of relationship they had (one-night stand, etc) - just that he had met her, but did not have a relationship with her. Maybe when he was questioned he didn't remember or realize it was her .
They are getting a new search team (who found Elizabeth Smart) together to search for Caylee. I sure would love to have a happy ending to this but I doubted it. Its been way too long.
I agree, it would be a blessing to have a happy ending, but I'm afraid that's not going to happen. The question in my mind now is, did the mother do it, or is she covering up for whoever did? The fact that they seem to be offering her immunity indicates they think someone else was involved.
The mother should know by now that its all over for her....why not Speak Up so this child can come home and have a decent burial.
The person on the news, (I for the life of me can't think of who she was now of course!), said something like if she cooperates, they can't say, "she told us...." in court. I tried looking up a better explanation but couldn't find one. Maybe someone else can?
first off.... I CANNOT BELIEVE she is out of JAIL again. I watched Nancy Grace ( I should have known better not to watch it)tonite. It breaks my heart that this lil girl has not been found yet...dead or alive. I can not look at my own 3 year old lil girl and not think about Caylee...and I get tears in my eyes. My DH says I should let it go and stop looking at this case since he knows how I get. I can't help it.
Saw this in one of the news reports: I agree, it seems someone else was involved. Re: Nancy Grace... Am I the only one that is irritated by her? Granted, I usually get some new information from her show, but her curtain chewing antics are a pain.
I agree, I rarely watch her. She's overly dramatic, and has everybody convicted before an investigation is even complete. Immunity: General immunity, sometimes called blanket immunity, means the person will not be prosecuted if they cooperate. Limited immunity just means that there are some limitations on that immunity.
update - they've charged her with murder http://www.wral.com/news/national_world/national/story/3737919/ Missing Fla. girl's mom indicted on murder charge ORLANDO, Fla. — The mother of a missing 3-year-old girl was accused Tuesday in an indictment of killing her daughter, prosecutors said, even though the child's body has not been found during an exhaustive four-month search. A grand jury returned charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter and four counts of lying to investigators against Casey Anthony in the death of her daughter, Caylee, State Attorney Lawson Lamar said. The mother is being held without bond. A few hours before the sealed indictment was issued, the 22-year-old Anthony stood silently, sometimes crying, as her attorney told reporters she is innocent. "Casey is going through a nightmare," Jose Baez said. "I sincerely believe that when we have finally spoken, everyone, and I mean everyone, will sit back and say, 'Now, I understand. That explains it."
