I'll second Harleygirl -- Bark & Bath is fantastic. Our dog adores Jeanne, and we don't have to go through the hassle of driving to the groomer's. The little extra we might spend on each appt. is more than made up from the savings of gas and stress, IMO.
Well I guess I was just surprised that she was $35 more than what I payed up north, and the one I had called a few days ago.
I 4th Bark and Bath! I save money on gas I save travel time I don't have to wipe nose-prints off my car windows I don't have to stop at the Golden Aches for vanilla cones (reward) I don't have to worry about my dogs getting into scuffles with other dogs I don't have to worry about my dogs being squished into a cage or kennel all day - and not getting a potty break (they would NEVER potty in a kennel) I don't have to worry about cleanliness (Jean's rig is immaculate!) I don't have to worry about someone getting heavy handed with my babies (Jean is super-caring) I don't have to worry if one of my older dogs gets stressed - he's right in the driveway and if he has a problem, I'm right here. If I can't take time off from work, Jean can come in and get them. I've done the hauling of my dogs to brick and mortar groomers before Jean came along. . .one in Raleigh, two in Clayton, one in Smithfield. . .the price is not that much different, but my peace of mind is!
She ABSOLUTELY does a great job. If anyone needs a groomer, please consider Tamara. My dog has never looked so good. She also had a hot spot that is now much better and the scratching has stopped. 8):hurray:
I love Jean w/ Bark & Bath too, but our dogs are too big for her & she quit doing cats. Our loss...she is great. We use Liselle Clowers w/ K-9 Clips now. She can do any size dog & cats too. Her # is 938-2777. She has a shop & also does mobile grooming.

We used Tamara (On Matthews Rd) this summer. -- SHE's GREAT!!! Big Woof Woof was as clean as a hospital OR! Spic & Span clean. Smelled great too & was not itchty (no dry skin) after. He's a 75lb German Shepherd Dog, so no haircut or trim style. She did a super job getting the loose hair out of his coat and I thought the price was very resonable. She showed me the trashcan of his hair. WOW! I was thankful that was not all in my HOUSE!
