I'm ashamed to ask this because I forgot . . . where do I go to see how much memory my computer has? I thought it was under My Computer but I just cannot find it!

    Assuming you use windows:

    Go to the start button

    Choose "All Programs"

    Go to "Accessories"

    Got to "System Tools"

    Then choose "System Information"

Right click on "My Computer" and choose Properties. RAM is at the bottom.

Also, if you have shared video, round that number up to the nearest number divisable by 128 for the actual amount install. (major geek response:lol:)

Heh...I always do that, until it gets over 1 GB, then I just round it off to 1 GB, or 2, or 3, etc.

Ok, I have 2.53 GHz and 256 mb of ram.

    Is that good?

I want to install Photoshop 7 and I know it is a memory hog.

Your system meets the minimum requirements for Photoshop 7.

Although I would recommend adding more memory to the system.
