Vivian - I've seen the fliers ... but what -is- this event? Something to do with poker? Or cars? Or dogs? I'd love to support the JCAPL ... but I dont know what to do, where to go, or how .... ? Do you just show up at one of these locations ... do you bring something? Buy something? Donate something?
What I've been told is you start at the first place and get a card, then go to the next and get a card, and continue to do that at each stop. Whoever has the winning hand at the last stop wins. The starting point is Shelton's HD, where you register, the cost is $10. There is food and entertainment at the last stop, Heidi's Two Wheel Cafe. JoCoRes are you out there and do you know anything other than what I said or does that about sum it up? Help me out. LOL
Usually a poker run is done in conjunction with a motorcycle ride. A group of riders will do what they call a "Poker Run", usually they are some sort of an organized fundraiser or benefit.
Exactly! Don't let that stop you all from participating though because JCAPL is not limiting this one to motorcyclists.
