Woooo!!! Way to go!!! Congrats!!!!

Sassy - I'm headed back to Curves tomorrow (yes - the one at 4042), I'll check to see if they're running any promotions.

 

Want a weight watchers meeting at 4042?

Hey guys - I live in the McGee's Crossroads area going to the Garner WW meeting because that's just my favorite one. I'm right smack in the middle of the meetings in Garner, Clayton, Smithfield and Benson - 20-25 minutes from each one - wish it wasn't so far. I've been making a lot of phone calls this morning to the WW headquarters and they are leaving my info. with the weight watchers representative for Johnston County and she's going to call me back. I'm really pushing to get a meeting created in this area preferably during the day while kids are at school but I'm not being picky about the time. I explained to her that I know so many people who think we should have one here because of the exploding population. I also confidently told the lady on the phone I might be able to help with conjuring up a facility to hold the meetings but as soon as I hung up I thought, crap I have no idea where. Does anyone have any suggestions on this. I thought about Mt. Zion church on 50 but I haven't contacted them yet. I'm just trying to think of a place very close to 4042. If we go any further in any other direction, it will be getting too close to one of the existing locations. HELP! I need some support from you ladies (and gentlemen) I'm sure I'm speaking for so many when I say, I really want this to happen!!!

It Rocks!!

Got my Rex membership today, swam laps for a whole Hour!!
Could not believe how fast time flew.
Felt great!
Got a couple of passes if anyone wants to try it out!

 

Way to go Sassy!!! And I missed it!!! I wasn't able to go Monday night..had a few unexpected twists in my evening. Hopefully I will be there on Monday. I'm so peed off that I wasn't there to clap for you!! You did great!! I can't wait to tell Rhonda that you won the bet.

Jana, I know at one time they used to have one at that church on the left going toward Benson. I can't remember the name of the church now though. If you're on 50 heading toward Benson and go through the stop light at 50/210 it's down there on the left. That's where I used to go years ago and I loved going there. Don't know why they stopped having it there. We always had a good turnout....it wasn't packed like the one at Hollands is but still a lot of people came.

Thanks! It was a good meeting. We talked about soup. It made everyone hungry. Stephanie wasn't there. We had a substitute but it was a good meeting.

What time is the meeting, Frame? I wish I didnt have to work til 7, I'd go with ya just for support ... is the meeting after 7? (then weigh-in as usual on Saturday)

How are you doing?

 

Ehhhh... so-so. Been eating ice-cream. (My weakness!) Granted, it's lite ... so only 3 points per 1/2 cup ... and I've only been eating about a cup at a time ... and DH brought home chips and salsa and other goodies to snack on ... and we had steak for dinner last night ... so it's been kind of a 'rich' week. On the other hand, I've been doing really well with the exercising, so maybe it'll balance out better.

 

The Breyers Fat Free Ice cream is REALLY GOOD.
They have the ff double churn french chocolate,ooooooo. yum
You will do great this saturday, I can feel it.
I will miss the meeting, and all my friends and support, but I will be back roaring to go on the next one.


BTW: I LOST ONE POUND!!
I weighed in at night and was soooooo nervous, but I still lost a pound!
(doing the happy dance)

I will bring you a souviner from Busch Gardens. I am terrified of roller coasters, so I will be sitting at the bottom,(ok pacing) waiting for everyone to get off.:lol:

This is Edy's slow churned ... or double churned ... or something ... mint chocolate chip. My faaaaaa-vorite flavor ... but we still have some left in the freezer, I havent eaten it all yet. That's a good sign.

Have a great time at Busch Gardens. Dont fret too much, tho I think worrying DOES burn calories!

Sassy, Curves at 4042's latest promotion is you can join for 66 dollars sign up fee, and then it's 34 dollars a month if you have it withdrawn automatically from your account - and that's for the new Curves Smart program (which is the electronic trainer system that I SUPER HIGHLY MAJORLY recommand cuz it totally kicks @ss!! ). I -think- that's what she told me yesterday.

 

Thanks! I will absolutely check it out. I have read a lot about the smart program on the weight watcher boards. It sounds awesome.

Do you know if I pay the first month when I sign up or is that included in the $66. Its been away since I was a member and I want to make sure i have enough with me. This check is kinda tight so i may wait till I get paid again.
