No, I am not going to ask what day or what time to go out. I just need suggestions on WHERE to take my 6 year old. We used to have lots of activity in our neighborhood but for the last 2 years no one is home! I need to find out where all the action is located.

A lot of churches do "trunk or treat" now and I know the malls usually have something. As far as subdivisions, take your pick.

I saw a classified ad for a Harvest Festival at a local church.

I would imagine since Halloween is on a Friday night this year, there will be all kinds of things going on! My sub was always lame when my boys were young, we always went up the road and went to other sub-divisions.

My neighborhood was kinda lame the last 2 years. Alot of people are taking their kids over to the Wynston subdivision on Amelia Church Rd.

You are welcome to come to our church for the Fall Festival!! It is Tippett's Chapel on Shotwell Road and from 6-8 we will be having inflatables, "trunk-or-treat", face painting, puppet skits, free hotdogs, funnel cakes, popcorn and drinks. Everyone always has a great time! Here's a link:

The outlet stores at Smithfield usually have trick or treat. It's well lit and very populated. Not all the stores participate, but most do.
