Beware all residents in Southills subdivision. Over the weekend, someone went through my car and trashed it. Also they almost stole blackberry, but realized it was password protected and threw it on the front lawn. The sheriff said 4 other houses had the same thing done.
Pleasant Woods and South Woods have also been hit.... So far they have only been hitting cars that are unlocked from what I have heard.
Arrest Made In Rash Of Cleveland Area Car Break-Ins The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with a rash of car break-ins in the Cleveland community. Wesley Andrew Williams of Garner was arrested Tuesday night after deputies followed up on a lead in the case. Williams is formally charged with breaking into three cars. Detective Lt. Ryan Benson said several thousand dollars in stolen property was recovered from the suspect’s home, and additional charges are pending. Eighty cars have been broken into in subdivisions off Cleveland, Winston, and Cornwallis Roads since mid-September. Fifty cars were broken into last month. Thirty were entered last weekend. Wake County authorities are also looking at Williams as a possible suspect in a number of vehicle break-ins in southern Wake County during the same time period. The unemployed 20 year-old man is in the Johnston County Jail under a $1 million bond.
