Me either, it was just fun to watch tams post a list of rules and then procede to break them all as soon as you posted an additional suggestion.
yeah, I am still wanting to know what the big deal is tho about the end of time. That is still my main question. But then again I think I was referred to as a Sunday Christian in the other post.. who knows.
I prefer to have fun with them. Most don't know that what they've been spoon fed by some fraud calling himself a preacher is either Bible misquotes or even nonexistent passages that they believe without even looking them up. Once I get someone who posts one of those spam messages filled with misquotes and unadulterated lies, it's fun and easy to fire back Biblical quotes showing them where the charlatan was wrong and/or lied to them. Sometimes I do wish one of these so called Christians would just open a Bible once in a while and read a little bit.
First of all I am the one who posted the Sunday Christian and let me tell you I am big enough to call you something directly if I meant that. I was agreeing with Bigunc about how some people are and claim things but only do it on Sundays. I am far from the one that is causing problems but saying why can some not read a post as it is and not try to turn it around. So who knows.. I know!
Why are you getting so upset with me, I read the post she made and asked a simple question, I know you are upset with me and that is fine. But I have not done anything to you.. And if you read my post you quoted I said "I thought" so there again, my opinion and only my opinion. But then again its like everything else. All Christian means the good not the bad.. carry on!
I am not so upset at you but you brought up the fact that you "thought" you were being called or referred to as a Sunday Christian and I am just letting it known that if I wanted to call you or anyone that I would do it directly and that is the truth. I do not know your lifestyle to call you that at all. I was annoyed with you which your avatar is right on point because it seemed you were assuming/thinking that.... I am not perfect but I am truly curious what people actually think is a Christian overall. I am a good person and try to be a good Christian. I do not think that I am a crybaby or trying to say that you and everyone else are bad/evil. People are reading things in a negative tone and I was annoyed that you would assmume the bad.... Like you said that all Christians means good and not bad... I never think that! However I did not think that about you but you thought bad about my post was my point.
LOL ok that is fine, I will leave it at that. No one will answer the question and I am fine with that!
actually if you read my first post on that thread it was a question, which I have asked several people, just an FYI
And if you read I agreed that we should rejoice about going home so I do not understand your point here. And before you read this as me being sarcastic I truly have no clue what you are talking about. I wrote that I did not call you a Christian on Sunday and you wrote something about all Christians being good and not bad so I was just saying give me or others the benefit of the doubt instead of assuming the worst. No cat fight here biguncfan... LOL I am just trying to actually let it be known that I am not the peacemaker of the world by far but I am also not the one that has to read everything as bad all the time. I am far and I mean far from perfect.
Christian = One who believes that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to this earth as man, was crucified on a cross for our sin and rose again on the third day. A Christian not only believes that but he accepts that the only way he may live eternally in heaven with God is to realize that he is a sinner in need of the salvation only Christ can offer through His shed blood on the cross. A Christian has asked Christ to be his personal Savior and is working to develop a closer relationship with Christ daily. A Christian is also totally unworthy of salvation because he is a filthy sinner. But, God extends grace to the Christian through Christ by giving us the FREE GIFT of salvation anyway. Being a Christian does not make one perfect or anywhere NEAR perfect. Christians make mistakes and still have the carnal side to fight with every day. Who can know if one is a "Sunday Christian" or not? ALL Christians who go to church on Sunday will not finish that same day out without sinning in some way. Sure they will make mistakes during the rest of the week but that does not mean they are not still a Christian. Yes, there are those who claim to be Christian but seem to live a lifestyle that shows the opposite. But all Christians are not at the same maturity level and that is important to remember. Being a Christian is a journey from the time you accept Christ into your heart to the time we meet our Maker and join Him for all eternity in heaven.
The one to the right looks a little slender so I want to be that one since I am still loosing a little baby weight... although I am more like a raging dog if I am really mad but I can honestly say that no one here has ever made me mad (yet) because I do not know anyone on this board personally. It takes someone to hurt me personally for me to get mad LOL... Now annoyed that is a different story... LOL
And I agree with this 100%... To walk in your faith and to try to be more Christ like in every step although we will step off the track but we have the undeserving power of forgiveness that is always there when we do slip. I am not calling anyone a Sunday Christian I was saying that some who have the wrong intentions are also known as Sunday Christians and some who go to church on Sunday just to show off your new purse or new hairdo is what I am mean. I have always said (on here too) that I can not say what is in someones heart although a lifestly can sometimes show it and I do not know anyone here to know their lifestlye. I do know that some people are confused as to what a Christian is which I think a lot of people can agree with me on that possibly??? I was confused when I was in my early 20's and I thought I was going to heaven and a Christiand just because I prayed every night and I beleived in Jesus but I did not try to be better daily... I did dumb things and I did not live a lifestyle always pleasing to God btu I was having fun and I thought that was important. It is also conviction in your heart that makes you a Christian and to want to please God always. To believe in him totally and his truths and to not fall easily into sin.
