Ok I need all your help. I would like to know what your favority party foods or drinks are. I am going to have a surprise party and am trying to come up with ideas for foods. I don't need a sit down meal, because it will be more casual and children will be there, so I think it will be easier just to have food out and people can get what they want when they want. Thanks in advance.

This dip is quick easy and delicious.

1 package Jimmy Dean's sausage (or your preference) Hot.
    1 package cream cheese
1 can green chilis (now if you want spice get the hot, you can also add jalapenos)

Cook sausage. Add cream cheese and chili. Add milk for consistency. This is a family recipe. Always goes well.

I usually take desserts especially if I am going to a party and they have had it before.

1 chocolate cake (either cheat and buy it in the bakery at the grocery store or buy a boxed one and make it according to directions)
2 large boxes of chocolate pudding (I use instant...works better)
1 large bowl or 2 small bowls of cool whip - let it thaw
    1 jar maraschino cherries
4 - 5 regular size bar candy bars (I usually use heath and I cheat now and buy the Heath bar chips in the chocolate chip aisle)
1 bag crushed peanuts - optional

In a large bowl (I use a glass one) crumble chocolate cake to cover the bottom of the bowl. Spread a layer of chocolate pudding over the cake and sprinkle crumbled up candy bar then spread a layer of cool whip. Continue doing this until you reach the top of the bowl. The top layer should be cool whip. Put cherries and peanuts (optional) on the top and refridgerate for about 1 - 2 hours.

I always like the mini hotdogs in the BBQ sauce/grape jam mix. Yum!

Go to Walmart's frozen food section and you'll find plenty of appetizer foods to chose from. There are mini pizza, mini quiche, party meatball, chickappetizer, poppers, etc. All you have to do is to pop it in the oven and have it ready for the party. If you have a BJ card, they also sell those too.

Right on point here! This is a lot of things you would see at our family parties. Now that I sell a cooking stuff I make a lot of new recipes just to try them out but you can NEVER go wrong with all of this!!!

    Quick and easy dip....

1 1/2 blocks of cream cheese
1 Can Hormel Chili (with or without beans--your preference)
    Shredded cheddar cheese

In an 8 x 8 dish, put the cream cheese on the bottom (if you get the blocks it will take 1 1/2 blocks...slice one block in half and then line the pan with the 3 pieces), pour chili on top, sprinkle with as much shredded cheddar cheese as you like. Pop it in the oven at 350 until the cheese is melted and it's warm all the way through (roughly 15 minutes). You can serve it with tortilla chips, regular potato chips and/or crackers.

Big block of Velveeta, cut into cubes. Put in crock pot on low or medium. Add one pound (crumbled and cooked) of spicy sausage (I like Bass Farms or Neese's) and one small jar of salsa. Mix and heat until Velveeta is melted (stir occasionally). Scoop and enjoy with tortilla chips.
    Veggie Pizza's good, too.

Sausage balls stuffed with cheese. Yes, very fattening.

Pork, turkey, chicken or whatever italian sausage you choose.
    Mozarella cheeze.

Form a golf ball sized piece of sausage around a marble sized piece of cheese. Bake on a rack until it's done. (Sorry I didn't write it down.) Serve with marinara sauce on the side.

Everybody loved it. Of course there's always the tiny quiches in the frozen section at BJ's...

There is a great salsa that BJ's sells in a large container, the brand is Margarita or Margaritaville. Empty it into a strainer (its got alot of juice from settling), add a couple of avocados and the juice of a lime and call it your own! You can find it in the section where they have the cheeses and appetizers, the cooler doors are facing the center aisle.

a friend gave me this recipe
1 lb sausage (mild or hot)
1 package of 4 cheese mexican
1 small can of green chilies
1 8oz package of pepperjack cheese shredded.
    1 package of wontons
    1 16 oz of salsa

brown sausage, drain well. Add other ingredients and mix until cheese is melted, let sit until cool. Take 1 spoonful and place in center of wonton. Put a little water on the four corners and pinch closed. Repeat until mixture is gone (this may take 2 packs of wontons, depending on how full or not full you make them) place on cookie sheet in 350 degree oven until golden brown!
