Yeah, I know about the Santa thing. But, teasing a grown man because he believes Santa's real is not the same as telling a fellow Christian they are going to Hell in my book. Who is Clif to question Ready's Christianity? Not nice, not nice at all!

Oh! You mean like telling another Christian they are going to hell is the "Christian" thing to do?

I was lurking for years my friend so my register date has nothing to do with it. The fact that it was three years ago and then you brought it back up again and then continue to bring it up qualifies for ages for me. You say you're not going to bring it up anymore, cool.

Are you sure that it is NOT?

    NOPE!!

Well if it's not nice to question a person's Christianity than why is it okay for others to make it a mission on this board to question Obama's?

No, not reasonable at all. Only God can "bless" a marriage and that will only happen when it as a marriage between a man and a woman.

Obama's Christianity can be judged by his own words, based on the Word itself. I don't have time right now but I'll be happy to prove his false Christianity based on his own words in a bit if you want me to.

Ummmm I wasn't just referring to Ready, there are others as well. And I have no idea how your statement has anything to do with my question that if it's not ok and not nice for Clif to question another person's Christianity then shouldn't that be across the board and it not be okay for anyone to question another Christian's Christianity?? This is what goes on everyday on this board with Obama is not a Christian for a,b,c,d,......,x,y,z reasons.

Who is anyone to question anyone else's Christianity? The world is full of self-righteous Christians who feel obligated to promote their version of Christianity and claim others are not "real" or "true" Christians.

Well there are a lot of people also in this world that think they are Christians and really have no clue what being a Christian means too... Just believing in Jesus does not make a person a Christian and I think that maybe people misread post and what points are being made. Also with Obama I and actually Ready has said that we have no clue if Obama is a Christian or not but it was posted that some religions say "once a Muslim always a Muslim" and I have no clue who is a Christian if they say they are.... However I know that there are some people (DID NOT USE A NAME) that are confused that is all

Obama is a public figure running to be the president of the US. With this comes living under the microscope. As a Christian, I DO care what religion the POTUS is. Yeah, yeah, I know, seperation of church and state (that's a whole other debate though)...but that does not mean I can't cast my vote based on which candidate will have morals I agree with the most.

Obama has brought his faith into question all by himself with the sorry company he keeps. I, and other voters, have every right to question his faith and I most certianly do just that!

Surely you can see that questioning the faith of a presidential candidate is not at all the same thing as telling a person on a public forum that they are going to hell. I don't think anyone here has gone so far as to actually state on this board that they think Obama is going to hell, could be wrong, but I have not seen that on here.

Why must you make this thread about Obama anyway. There is plenty of that elsewhere!

So I had to read the article to see what all the hoopla was about, big deal the parents that didn't want there child to attend opted out (only 2 did this). They got married, its not for us to judge and now I don't believe they will go to hell, I'm sure they will be sitting next to me in heaven when I arrive. A sins, a sin, a sin.. all equal and all forgiveable.

Yes, and it would seem that is exactly what Clif is doing.

Yet it's ok for her to believe that hers is the only one that counts, right?

    Sorry I missed this.

The Levitican laws were created, not for man in general but for the Levites, which were the priests of the time. They had special laws meant only for them, as well as the one you pointed out, there were also laws against eating shellfish (Lev 11:10).
"And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you"

You don't believe that eating shrimp is a sin on the same level as homosexuality, do you?

There are also Levitican laws against man cutting their hair, wearing clothes made of two different fibres as well as planting two different crops on the same plot of land. If you accept Leviticus 11:10 as law for the "common man", then the next time you see someone wearing a cotton blend t-shirt, you need to start picking up stones to toss at them.

I do apologize for missing the above post. Please remind me of others I may have missed.
