    update on family needs: there is also a 22yr old female who is a size 7/8 . also if anyone knows someone who works at Lowes that could help out with blinds for the house they are in. plus gift cards would be great. They also need outside toys too. 2 twin beds are still needed badly also mattress. please if you guys could when giving clothes, if you could wash them . they still haven't gotten the washer yet, it would be great. and if you have any hangers for their clothes they need them too. clothes and shoes are still needed for their oldest daughter and grandmother. 5/6 (clothes) shoe 7, 7/8 (clothes) shoe 8 1/2. i did notice no clocks at the home. i'm trying to get as many small everyday stuff so they don't have to buy them. if you only have a clock to give, is a great blessing to this family. thank you guys for helping me to help them. i could't do this without the great support of this awesome community!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! call me for any information . 934-5108 my name is christie .thank you again

    I am blessed to live here.....

    This community rocks! :hurray::hurray: :grouphug:

    Just dropped off a dvd player, a VCR, a doll house w/all the furnishings, clothes, clothes and more clothes for the 2 YO little girl, toys, toys and more toys for both kids and a very nice stone table lamp.

    Thank you to J & R King .... the great family that donated all this stuff!!!!

    PS - Let me know if the family would like to have a green recliner / rocking chair. It's in VERY good condition and waiting for them if they want it.

    Awesome, I was just wondering if they had a DVD/VCR. I will go through my movies and books tonight. Familiar movies/stories can be comforting to young children when in a time of stress or change. And what little girl does not love the Little Mermaid?

    I have women's size 7 and 7 1/2 shoes that I can give, in great condition. Do you know if they need these? Also, I have women's clothes sizes 7/8 and maybe even some 5/6 available. Please let me know if this will help! Thanks!

    Family displaced by fire

    Yes, all those items you mentioned they can use (7, 7.5 shoes / size 7/8 and 5/6 clothes). My wife is probably the best to answer questions about what they need. I've been trying to keep this thread up to date, but it's getting harder for me to respond to the emails and postings in a timely fashion. Her name is Christie and you can call her at home at 934-5108.

    We continue to thank everyone for their support.

    I can supply a ton of hangers. DH wears uniforms for work so each week he gets his clean uniforms on wire hangers... which means we have an overload. I'll call to find out where to take them.

    I can bring over hangers, I have tons here, previous owners left theirs. Also, I have one or two large round storage bins, the heavy plastic ones w/the rope handles, we use them for toy boxes, if you want those, they might be dusty, they've been in the garage :)

    I just had a chance to read this all the way thru, so much going on here, I just skim any more, but with Kyle coming home tomorrow, I can get him to look thru some of his old movies and see if he has any kids movies or movies in general that he might like to get rid of. I wish I had some of the stuff I donated to good will after I had a yard sale a while ago. I got rid of so much stuff and I don't have any young ones any more, but I will have both Kyle and Meg look to see if they have anything.
