Counting points can be very time consuming, and a pain in the butt, but it is worth it in the long run. I honestly don't know how I'm doing. I feel like I might have gained, but I'm hoping not. I'm 1.2 pounds away from getting 10% and 2.2 pounds away from getting my first 25. I really want to hit one of those this week. We'll see though. Horseback riding went great last Saturday though, and I have another lesson tomorrow. I'm holding on to that success to balance out everything else

That is so awesome! I'm so happy for you, Buena, to be back up on horseback! I'll get there someday - it's a major goal of mine. I'm doing so-so this week. It's "that week" of the month ... and I've been cheating here and there cuz today is my bday ... I've been trying to be good til AFTER the WW meeting ... *grin* My hopes for this week are to at least maintain.
Do any of you every just have one of those days where even if the scale shows a downward motion, you just feel rotten and hate that this is taking so long and hating that you let yourself get so fat? That's where I'm at today. I feel fat and frustrated and just BLAH. Congratulations to the ladies who had such great successes at the meeting today. I had a loss too... 1.2 pounds, but man. I just don't feel good today.

Frame - I'd be frustrated to tears too, if I were in your shoes. All I can say is just hang in there .. you've made so many positive changes in the past two months, just look at everything you're doing now! The weight will start moving ... just give it a chance to kick in. Your body will begin to realize that you're serious this time - you're making these changes FOR GOOD. It will come off. Have faith!
No i didn't go. I was going to go to the Clayton one with my friend and help her with homework. I went straight from work to her house and her husband didn't get home in time to watch the kids. So instead of going to weight watchers we went and ate Mexican last night. :lol: I know I am horrible. I have had no motivation this week. I may go take a long walk around my neighborhood tonight.
That's the way to do it!!! You splurged on Mexican, now you're gonna walk it off. See that's the frame of mind I just couldn't get into. I'd eat the Mexican and say "Oh well, I blew it" then go sit on the couch and watch TV. :lol:
Don't feel bad, I have had MANY days like that!:lol: My husband had the day off yesterday, so needless to say I did not get my workout in. But we did work on all our Halloween Set up. Not as big as our maze last year, but the buttholes at progress energy cut down most of my trees for new power lines. Grrr:evil:
I echo what everyone has already said. I had one night when my boyfriend had a rough day at work, so I told him I would get him anything he wanted for dinner. As it happened, he wanted pizza! So I had pizza that night. Last night I went to the fair and had another slice of pizza, and some ice cream. I have NO time to work out Monday-Wednesday, because I provide homebound instruction for a student who has cancer and don't get home usually until 7pm. I'm riding Thursday nights, I did do a lot of walking last night at the fair... but I just feel like I'm a big slacker! I need to lose .2 to get my 10% and boy do I want it bad. Apparently not bad enough given my choices! We all go through it though
I have to agree with everyone else ... I have no motivation this week. Had a migraine on Monday and half of Tuesday ... I nibbled on stuff thru-out the day. No clue what, and could have cared less to have written it down. I've only been to the gym once, dont think I'm going to have time to go again til Friday. Husband wants to bring home something for dinner tonite, and I have no idea what to suggest ... he knows I havent felt good and I've been stressed, so he's trying to be nice. Any suggestions?
Just a tip that I got from a friend not sure if its been posted but reading Bren's post made me think of it. Once you go to the store and pick out what you want and bring it home as you are putting it up take the time to figure the points and write it on the box, if its something you keep constantly, tear the label off and write the points on it and tape it on the inside of a cabniet or pantry door.. As far as what to tell hubby to get, what are your choices go to dwlz and see what the points are for the different things you can order depending on where he can pick up from..

Elims, I have had those days honey, hang in there. As far as a suggestion for take out, Hibachi Chicken with about half the rice they give you isn't too bad. Sushi is good. I recommend the Shrimp Roll. Or Chinese Takeout like Beef w/ Broccoli or something like it, not fried, or dripping with too much sauce8) Some of those are the lesser of two evils.:twisted: Hang in there Guys!!!!
