Alaska funded Palin kids' travel

I have no problem with what Mrs. Palin has done.

 

Cool, would you want to pay for may family to travel with me so I can put family first? Maybe not all, but just a portion? Maybe I can get others who feel as you do to kick in some too.

 

So this woman, with multiple ethics issues, isn't of concern to you because she is going to go to the District of Columbia to clean it up?

 

If Obama is elected the least of our worries will be if he takes his family with him when he travels or who pays for it.Why shouldn't his family be with him when he travels.If someone taking their children with them on a business trip is going to break a state or our country we've got bigger problems than we all know about.There are alot more things that our money is wasted on other than a politician having their family with them.Clinton has sex in the oval office and that's ok but for a mother to take her daughter on a business trip is outrageous we have huge problems with our morals.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is allowed to charge taxpayers for her children's commercial airline tickets because they represent the state wherever they go with her, the governor's aides said Wednesday.

"There's an expectation that the First Family participates in community activities," said Sharon Leighow, the governor's spokeswoman. "They are representing the First Family and the state of Alaska."

Why would you complain about the wasting of the taxpayers money if you agree with it some of the time? You keep missing the point there is no problem with taking a family on a business trip, but to have the taxpayers foot the bill for it is.
