Was talking to a friend last night about Margaritaville .... going to Key West for Halloween someday. Deep blue sea water, and margaritas ... MY idea of heaven! I wonder how many points is in an average margarita (dont tell me if it's a lot!!!)
No idea, I am more of a Pina' Colada girl. And gettin' caught in the rain:lol: Weigh in tommorow..... If I gain this week I am going to scream!! I just finished my "last chance workout" we will see in the morning. How are you doing elims? Are you feeling any better?
'ritas and Daiquiris for me. Mixed fruity drinks. Hurricanes. YUM. Still feeling kinda bleah. My head still isnt right, have a small headache tonite, but at least it's not a migraine. Hoping a good night's sleep will help. Went to the doctor yesterday and her scale actually matched the scale at WW! I was pleased.
How did all of you ladies do this week? I hope well. Share your success! I have a question: At Subway... in the dining out companion there's the fresh/fit sandwich listed as like 6 points. I've never known if you take 6 and then 5 more for the bread, or if that 6 points covers everything (other than cheese). Anyone know the answer?
Buena - I'm pretty sure that counts the bread. Here's an interesting reference for Subway: http://wwpoints.info/subway.htm I lost 2 this week. I'm feeling good. I know I have to keep making lifestyle changes. I love the support of the weight watchers meetings.
Way to go Elims. I lost 2.8, made my 10%, and also my first 25. It was a good week. And you're right, it does count the bread. All this time I've been counting the bread separately! Had to come to a hard decision this week... I'm going to have to quit horseback riding. Financially I just can't do it. I'm pretty upset about it.
CONGRATS BUENA!!!!:hurray::hurray: Way to go on your 10% and 25! That rocks! I am really sorry that you have to quit horseback riding, that is a fun activity, and a great stress reliever. Have you thought about maybe calling Reins from Above, and seeing if they need any volunteer help, and maybe you can ride some of them for free for helping out? My step daughter used to help down there. My WI was ok, I lost 1.8, but I put on 1.4 last week. I am working out so hard and eating right, tracking and everything it is so frustrating!!! If I wanted to see my weight go up and down like this, I could just drink beer and stay on the couch!!!:banghead::cuss:
1.8 pounds is great Frame!! Here I go again with the clapping smiley....:hurray: You've gotta get out of that frame of mind. If you drank beer and stayed on the couch it would be a gain EVERY week!! You're doing great. You ladies are making me keep thinking it can be done. Don't you dare get down on yourself as good as you've done!! Brenda
You've worked so hard to get back in to it ... can you maybe just postpone it for a few more months? Until the new year, or something? Start putting a few dollars aside out of each paycheck - set up a fund - DO NOT TOUCH money - so you can start riding again soon? I hate to see you give up something that you have fought so hard for, love so dearly. Make it another goal to reach for. Can you volunteer at the stables where you ride, in trade for lessons?
I know this is the thread for Weight Watchers but I just have to post this... Several months ago I bought the newest South Beach Diet book, the one with the word Supercharged in the title. I read the whole book and it made a lot of sense to me because it is somewhat like Atkins, which works, but it's not as restrictive as Atkins and allows even more veggies. I procrastinated about starting it I went grocery shopping on Sunday (happy to find a new, natural, no-calorie sweetener called Truvia on the market :hurray and on Monday morning I took the plunge. So today is day 3 and I think I'm past the sugar cravings now - yesterday was BAD and I was very grumpy! So, I got on my scales this morning and was rewarded with a 4.2 lb. loss... in just TWO days! I have a long way to go, I need to lose at least 60 lbs., but it's a good start! :-D
That's great, Ready!! Ahead, full steam!! Find something that works for you, and do it!! Keep us informed! I havent heard about Truvia yet ... going to have to look in to that one.
Frame, how ya doing so far this week? For some reason, I'm TOTALLY feeling my full weight this week. Gravity sucks! I want to lay down in bed, I dont want to get up and move around. Even lifting my arms ... they feel heavier than usual. I'm thinking I may need to start drinking caffeine again ...
Thank you very much! Have you ever heard of Stevia? I'd heard of it but it has never been available in grocery stores, only in health foods stores, etc. Truvia is made from the Stevia plant... http://eating.health.com/2008/08/14/taste-testing-truvia-zero-calorie-sweetner/ I've only used it in my morning coffee, 2 packs in a large mug w/ half & half, and night before last I had some hot decaf tea with 1 pack in it. It has a very good flavor. I'm so glad it's on the market because I can not use Splenda, it makes my kidneys hurt. :?
