I found the interview just fine. Biden answered with intelligent responses and the only time he made an off the cuff remark was to ask the interviewer if she was joking when quoting Marx. I guess we have different ways of looking at these things.

    You bettcha,

I think the reaction of the Obama campaign, not the actual interview, is where the issue is. Because Biden was asked tough questions by a competent reporter who followed up each question like a good interviewer should, Obama's campaign got upset at the TV stations.

Oh, I did not see a link other than YouTube and some blog. Could you please give me a news link to the article on the Obama campaign getting upset. I was responding to the YouTube actual interview.

    Thanks so much,
    Sherry

Biden is experienced and if anyone actually wants to discuss that part of the election I'll be glad too. Palin vs. Biden discussion would be great. The other stuff is not worth time.

    Too bad,

Sherry, I want to give you all my money so you can spread my wealth. That ok with you? I guess I don't need it according to Obama. I guess getting a good education and busting my butt to make a successful life means nothing to your type. Just give it to the ones who sit around and live off our government.

Oh for God's sake Sherry, you have two eyes and the ability to type. . .all we ever get from you besides rhetoric are some sappy melancholi excuses - "I just saw a blog". . ."provide me a link". . ."I don't have time". . ."I need to do some research". . .you sound like Kay Hagan  Trust me, every time there's a political thread and you can't baffle us with bs, you have to indicate that you'd love to comment, but and then the excuse - nobody gives a rats behind if SHERRY gets in her two cents, or not. People can usually manage to draw their own conclusions without your help. If you have a comment, make it; if you need more info, look for it; if you don't have time keep quiet until you do.

If you read the links provided by the original poster you would have seen

"The Obama camp then killed a WFTV interview with Biden's wife Jill, according to an Orlando Sentinel blog.

"This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election," wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign, according to the Sentinel."

Now, of course true to your form, you'll reply that they are just getting busy with the campaign winding down. If that's what your rant is going to be put a freaking cork in it.

    Zookeeper,

Don't know what "kind" I am but okay. I'm not too busy. Post something, show a credible source for goodness sakes. See, Biden had educated responses to questions and knew when something was not an actual issue.

Don't like my responses, move on or use Ignore. I choose not to do that as I want to read all responses. It's a huge world with a wide variety of opinions!

    Have a wonderful afternoon,
    Sherry

    From the link:
Are you saying the questions were invalid because the reporter's husband is a Republican?

Most of the questions were based on false premises, and the reporter's husband's connection with the McCain campaign probably explains the reason for that.

What false premise? Did Mr. Obama not say that he wanted to "spread the wealth"? (He did) How is his spreading the wealth not socialism is a very valid question based on a valid premise.

The fact that you may not like the question does not mean it is based on an invalid premise.

to "spread the wealth", obama will raise taxes on those he deems the wealthy and in turn lower taxes on the middle class. People on the right fall for all the fear tactics, it must be the lack of education

Which is redistribution of wealth. If you're going to lower taxes, lower them for all. If you're going to raise taxes, raise them for all. All should pay the same percentage. As it sits now, if you make $1000, you'll pay about $50 in taxes. If I make ten times that ($10,000) you'd think that I should pay $500, but I don't. I pay more like $750).

you realize that we operate under "progressive taxation" in this country right? If everyone was taxed equally you would have 2 failing outcomes. With high taxes, people on the low income end couldnt afford to live, with low taxes, the government would not be able to provide necessities (schools, infrastructure, police/firefighters) to the people.

Forgot some....foodstamps, welfare, housing for low income, free healthcare for illegals.

By the way, those low income people always seem to be able to buy beer, cigarattes, guns and drugs. Maybe if they paid a little extra taxes alot of innner city problems would go away.

Face it your guy is a socialist pig, vote that way if you want. He's the biggest liberal in the Senate. We'll see his true colors come out after he is voted in. He has made numerous remarks in the past on his socialist (MARXIST) ways.
