Power out - W. Johnston Area

Wondering if others are without power, too. I'm guessing the outage was caused by the wind. It has been out about ten minutes now.

Update - Progress Energy reports restore time around 5:45 pm.

 

Power on by Sanders road. But the winds are strong here.

 

Power Out

I have power but do not have any Telephone service. My telephone has been out since around 1P.M. Anyone out here have Embarq and have no phone??? I live on Breland Drive on the South Plantation Subdiviision.

 

sorry peoples in my attempt to run over an obama sign I lost control and hit the power pole, now that had to be spiritual intervention. I'm ok though, I missed the obama sign.

 

Embarq Phone Svc... Or should I say No Phone Svc

Just e-mailed Embarq...... They responded that they have a major outage in the area and that Phone Service will not be restored until tomorrow around 1:30 P.M. So no phone for 24 hrs. wonderful. At least I got my internet:ack:

 

Interesting ... we are off Sanders but still no power. Good reason to justify eating out tonight??

 

i just got home and i past about 7 embarq vans and trucks on cleveland school road about 3.5 miles east of where Polenta meets Cleveland school rd

 

Progress Energy web site now saying power should be restored by 7:45.
