Possibly. But just imagine the carnage! We could probably take out three or four states.

An update on this...a flier was left in neighborhood mailboxes by one of the subdivision residents stating that they saw what sounds like the same man in the same car pulling out of the subdivision yesterday morning. The person said she wrote down the plate number and looked it up and it came up as a different car so obviously stolen plates. She stated that she has reported the incident to the police. Everyone watch your kids, keep an eye on your property and your neighbor's children and property and be alert.

I'm Amazed...You'll have taken a serious community alert thread that someone is following children on the bus and at bus stops and turned it into a joke..Can't you do this stuff on another thread ? All the others are off topic too just pick one..Show some class :chillpill:

I love it when folk come to our 4042 house, prop their feet up on the coffee table, and start telling us how to run things. I mean, THAT is the definition of class.

It sure is scary especially with Halloween tomorrow evening. Make sure you keep a leash on the kids Tightly. I am serious.

Doesn't anyone ever watch their kids anymore? If they are too young to know to run home and not talk to strangers; then someone should be watching them as they get off the bus.
    there are weirdos out there.
it's a parents responsibility to teach their kids what to do in the sake of an emergency situation. I hate hearing this junk about "we don't want to scare them." yeah, ya do. you need to. not a lot, but enough.

Of course we watch our kids but I don't think our kids need to live in constant overboard fear, and they should be able to be outdoors and play with their friends and go for a bike ride or walk to little Cindy-lou's house down the street a block. We ask the kids to walk in pairs. Many of them carry walkie-talkies and cellphones. We ask the older ones to help safeguard the younger ones. Asking neighbors to help keep a watchful eye does not mean that I'm going to shut mine and take a nap. It means we're all part of a community and should help each other figure out who this nasty person is and get him the heck out of here. My kids have been taught not to talk to grownups they don't know. To stay away from cars and out of reach. I've scared them just enough to make them wary but that doesn't mean that a grown man can't overpower them, or outrun them, or watch them in secret and know when mom and dad aren't home. Maybe he's not interested in the kids, maybe he'd just like to rob a few houses. If you want to be sick of something be sick of jerks like this that prey on all of us and make us scared to let our kids play.

I would say that the kids in Island Creek are watched better than most subdivisions. My kids have walkie talkies and every neighbor looks out for each other. As is the case of the pervert, even if you are watching your children he can make off with your kid in less than 1 second. All it takes is a one second distraction. Fortunately my daughter did the right thing by running to a neighbor's house when she saw this person. Next time, she doesn't leave the bus. It takes educating everyone involved on what to do just in case. Every kid needs to be "aware"....Sometimes being scared is a good thing :)
