Hansbrough out indefinately at Carolina

    Player of The Year Hansbrough is out indefinately at UNC-Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels are #1 in pre-season polls but that have to have Tyler to win the national championship.

    I wouldnt say they "have" to have him to win the title. UNC would still be very good with 4 out of 5 starters back and a top recruiting class coming in. Zeller is going to surprise some people.

    North Carolina basketball forward Tyler Hansbrough had missed only two career practices prior to Thursday. Now, he'll miss an indefinite number more.
    The consensus national player of the year was diagnosed with a stress reaction in his right shin, coach Roy Williams announced in a statement, and the senior will be sidelined for an unknown period of time.
