Had to take kitty back to the vet this morning. She was spayed last Tuesday and although she hasn't been licking her incision that much, she somehow managed to open it back up. Ugh. She's gonna have to spend the night and I hate it because she really hates the vet's office. My poor baby!

Ugh, vet just called and said that she is gonna have to wear one of those lampshade collars for 7 days!!! How in the world will I handle that? How will she even be able to get into her litter box?

Aawwwwww.... so sorry for kitty! You'll have to keep the top off the litter box, or buy her an big open litter box without a top.

Me too but the funny thing is she was her usual fiesty self this morning. She was running and ripping through the house as usual. If she was in any pain you sure couldn't tell it.

I really dread the next 7 days. It's gonna be hell for both of us.

Nope, this was after I saw the incision. She was doing all that while I was getting dressed and talking to the vet on the phone! She's so full of energy that sometimes we just laugh at her running from room to room. I sure wish I had some of that type of energy.
