So the little pup is barely 7 months old and I think she has gone into heat. My last dog was over a year old before this happened(and was fixed, no puppies). Obviously I am getting her fixed, but life has gotten in the way the past couple months and this has snuck up on me. :banghead: I was hoping to wait til I could get her into that Wake Co. SPCA thing in Jan. :? Do I need to wait til this over or can they spay her now? Does it cost extra? Also, obviously I am not letting her out of my sight in the meantime. No males dogs running loose around, but you can't be too careful. Ugg!
:banghead: They won't do it til she is 2 months past this heat. I could smack myself upside the head! The vet said it could cause problems and it's best to wait.
