I've been on WW for 1.5 years now. It has changed my relationship with food! Hopefully my total will be down some more this week. Total weight loss to date is 130.6 pounds :hurray: I am about 27 pounds to my goal :hurray::hurray::hurray:

Two weeks into South Beach as of today and down a total of 9.6 lbs. (my friend is getting ready to visit and I can feel the water retention - ugh! :x ) Anyway... going into phase 2 starting today so the weight loss is supposed to slow to 1-2 lbs/week. It feels so good to be off sugar and not have cravings! :hurray:

Ready, were you a big sweet eater? I love sweets and was just wondering how hard it was for you to give them up.

Yes, because I craved them all the time, so I had dessert after almost every meal.

Here is a fantastic little sweet treat that anyone can eat (SB phase 1 approved too.)

    1 no sugar added fudgesicle
1 tbs NATURAL peanut butter (be sure to use the natural stuff, for the texture)

Scrap the fudgesicle off the stick after heating in microwave for about 10 seconds. Add the peanut butter and stir. Tastes kind of like a Reese's cup and is oh so YUMMY! :)

    you too?
I am having one of those days today where I am just STARVING!!!
I could eat everything in the house.
I have been choosing fairly smart though
lots of cucumbers, smart pop popcorn, and a little dark chocolate.
I found these dark chocolate sticks, they are 60 calories, and only 1 point!!
I have been so busy with school, I have had NO time to go to the gym.
I really need to get on track.

I am ready to get this weigh in over with.

Hi, y'all! One food-related holiday down, one BIGGIE to go ... 'tis the season for sweets and treats and all sorts of yummies.

This past weekend at our WW meeting, we talked about sabotage - primarily people and temptations. For me, it's thoughts and emotions. With the holidays approaching, it's actually a bit depressing ... I usually go home to St.Louis for the holidays, and LOVE being surrounded by old friends and family ... to me, that *IS* Christmas ... but we're staying here this year. It makes me a bit sad. I sabotage myself with these negative emotions ... we are our own worst enemy.

My goal is to get through the holidays without getting too homesick, just maintain my weight and work on NOT emotional eating, and then take off running at the start of the year. If I can actually LOSE in this time frame, I'll be that much happier!!

    Hey Elims,
hang in there honey. I know what you are going through right now, and I am there for you.
Let me know if there is anything I can do.:grouphug:

My goal is to indulge just a little over the holiday and not beat myself up over it like I would have before.
They say the average person gains 1-5 pounds over the holidays.
    Not this chick.

    I'm going back to WW...

When will they have the new plan out in Clayton? Who in Clayton is your favorite leader? Thanks!

Agreed on Tonia. Look for any meeting where she's the leader ... she actually got state (or national?) recognition for leadership at their annual meetings recently. Everyone LOVES her spirit and enthusiasm ... twice recently, we've had others stand in when she couldnt be there, and it just wasnt the same at all.

Yeah, I think she said this next week we'd get a sneak peak at the new plan(s?) coming out for 2009.

I echo what everyone else has already said about Tonia. She is *awesome*. She really makes an effort to get to know each and every one of us, and that Saturday meeting is big. I know that I wouldn't have kept on if it weren't for her support.

And I'm pretty sure Tonia said Saturday we'd get a sneak peek about the new stuff with WW. Is everyone excited??
