There is one over behind Golden Corral restaurant, in the strip of shops, near the gymnastics place.

A note about the Post Office behind Golden Corral: they won't let you use your checkcard/credit card for any purchase under $8. Of course this is a direct violation of the terms that contract holders have with credit card companies, and they have been reported. Still, they believe they can limit transactions. Just a heads-up, so you won't find yourself being denied service. Funny how so many people just accept this kind of limitation at ANY place of business, because they don't know otherwise...

well i personally believe its a little rude to use a CC on something that's just a few bucks. they mights well just hand you the thing considering the charges the company will bill them for the transaction. but on the other hand $8 is a high limit. i've seen $4 or $5 more, and that's reasonable.

  they're not saying the Post office will charge you $8 for the trans, they're saying you can't use it for a purchase less than $8. Which I can understand, cause as you stated, they get charged for such transactions themselves. :)

Oh well that's the cost of having a business. They have their choice of companies that provide those card scanners too. I understand both sides of it though. Down in SC, the whole cash or credit price difference for gas is a whole lot more prevalent than here in NC. Most of the time the cash price is like five cents a gallon cheaper.

I agree. I don't carry cash and I use my debit card for everything.

It's the cost of doing business.

I think more people are going to start reverting to cash again, at least until the economy gets back on track and some sanity returns to our financial institutions.
