    Supporting the 1st amendment.

Many may not like it. Yet, again, if expression is to be free, one must tolerate expression that one find distasteful.

Well then why the push that had many removing Christ from Christmas some of them don't tolerate that.

Years ago, one of the morning radio shows (I think it was G105) had everyone show up with paint pellet guns to try to cover up a billboard. Not sure how well it worked, but I can bet it will be tried again on this one.

:iagree: That is a VERY good point. If one must be tolerated, than so should the other. IMHO.......

That's the solution! Ring in the holidays with a good case of Vandalism!

Hope Santa will be checking that list!

I agree. And did anybody else find the bilboard just kind of funny?

    "You are not alone"

I disagree, without God (IMO) - you kind of are.

The other funny part is I wonder if it is really in support of Athiests or just giving the finger to Christians.

Its probably the same group that was protesting at the repubs convention and for the same reasons... You ask them why they are there and they don't have a clue. :jester:

Well there is a bigger campaign coming by the American Humanist Association.

I don't believe it is an attack on Christianity, except for those shallow individuals who think that anyone not being a Christian is an attack on Christianity (think Inquisition).

It did a lot of good for me to realize that there are others that don't buy the supernatural thing. I personnaly don't care what you believe, but I am not a second class citizen because I don't believe the same as you.

Separating Christ from Christmas would seem to be the purview of Christianity and its evolution. Non Christians don't celebrate a religious holiday, and then bemoan the fact that it has become a dollars and cents event.

Totally separate issue from this bill board (which was paid for with private dollars).

Which is distinctly separate from the desire of those who who wish to remove religious displays from taxpayer supported venues. Many of these view the use of taxpayer suported venues as being close to establishing support for religious belief, which the 1st Amendment can be used to argue.

So the hub-bub about the graffitti against Obama should be tolerated as well? It's free speach that some find distasteful.

But, I guess since it was against him, it is considered "hate" instead, right? Nice 'ol double standards....................

Do you even know what you are posting about? Show me where this Billboard had anything to do with hate.
