where do you go and what do you pay. Peak Fitness has a special 99 for the year plus 25 fee.. Was wondering if this was a good deal and if anyone goes here and likes it? What is the equipment like? I did a search but didnt find what I was looking thanks
I'm a member at Peak Fitness and I really like it. The equipment is all well maintained and new. The staff is fantastic (especially at the one on 70). I think that deal is pretty good too.
$99 + $25 for a full year is a good deal if it is a full "metro" membership. That rate is probably prepaid. Be careful and read the fine print because about 6 months ago they sent out flyer advertising a really low price but it was for only one location and the days/times were limited. I am a member in Clayton with a full metro membership meaning that I can go to any location (the new Knightdale location is really nice) and I can go whenever I want to. I joined Jan 2007. Which location did you go to?
I just saw this online and thanks I will check into the fine print. I would go to either Clayton or Knightdale, I would like to have the choice!
That is a really good price, but beware of Peak Fitness, they've been on 5 on your side quite a bit in the last few years for different reasons! But if others on here have good things to say about the one(s) you'd be going to, then you're probably ok. We go to Fit For Life here at 40/42 and love it, but pay a lot more than that (for a couple) per year. But we also are never in Clayton or Knightdale, so that wouldn't work for us anyway.
Anyone would like the Knightdale location. It is new and really nike. Clayton is fine but Garner is a DUMP! Just be sure to get a metro membership and you will be fine.
I haven't seen anyone mention it, but friends of ours just signed up at Peak Fitness. They've been to the Clayton, Knightdale and FuquayVarina locations, they like Fuquay the best.
We go to Rex Wellness Center, they have one in Raleigh, Cary and Garner, and you can go to any of them. We mostly go to the one at white oak. I think they have a special going right now to join for $99, I think that only lasts for one more day. I think it runs us around 87 a month, but we do have the family membership. My wife and I enjoy going, it also nice because no one under 18 is allowed in the work out room, for us that nice, as I don’t want to deal with young kids running all around.
I go to Body Creations for Women. I like it for the free child care, the small atmosphere and the lack of men.:lol:
We probably see you there then, cause my hubby and I are there all the time (him more than me, unfortunately!)
