I just watched and saw it on Thanksgiving on TV too! The whole thing was great!! And, the tongue thing was PART OF THE SKIT. I can't understand how people could not see that. The scene was, "girl having fun, guy taking back his horn, she sticks her tongue AT HIM, like "you party pooper" and goes on with the show" All in fun.............
Geez, you all need to move on, I have. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Enough said on the "whatever it was".
I believe Robbie did move on, based on his posts in the other thread. Geez, damned if you do and damned if you don't!
well he posted here on it last night and that was what my response was too... but none the less we do live in a damned if I do damned if I don't world. so take your spoon out of the pot.:jester::lol:J/K Queen "C"
I was at the Four Oaks Christmas parade on Saturday and West did a great job, but i was standing near some West band parents that felt the need to laugh, make fun of, and talk ugly about the other bands in the parade. That was in such poor taste, so immature and so uncalled for. Its a shame that in order for some to feel good, they have to put down others. You should be ashamed of yourselves for talking so bad about other kids.
Sorry that happened Tang. Speaking as a WJHS band parent myself I've never done that even when I've heard other parents/spectators saying rude things about West at numerous parades and competitions. My personal favorite is when they only clap for their band. I clap for them ALL because it takes a ton of time and dedication to be in any school band. Just an fyi - what happened certainly would not be acceptable by our band directors beliefs or the kids. Our kids ALWAYS clap for the other bands at competitions though most other bands do not. Nor do they go up in the stands with the spectators and make disparaging remarks about the other bands performing. So, please don't think we're all like the parents you overheard at Four Oaks. I was there too and heard an unkind remark from a cheerleader from another school who had joined the spectators after she had completed the parade. I chalked it up to a bad day for her & didn't feel that she represented all of her school.
