Do join us on Saturday mornings ... we have people of EVERY health situation, age, gender (sometimes), it's a wonderful group. I had no idea it'd be so energizing and supportive.

If you cant, I know Tonia does another class or two during the week ... I'm sure they are as equally wonderful!!

I am really excited to see what the new plan is.
I wonder if it will be easier or harder.
    *ponder*:)

Can y'all believe that I went to NYC for almost a week and was surrounded with all that food but didn't gain ANYTHING! I didn't lose any, but I didn't gain either! I let myself have a few small servings of pastas & potatoes (off limits on SB), a little serving of bread pudding (not very sweet) and one little slice of plain cheesecake (also not very sweet.) That is ALL the "cheating" I did... because I just don't crave food like I used to. WOOHOO, it's a miracle! :hurray:

I'm incredibly curious about what the new stuff might be. Tonia seemed really excited about it.

I am not excited about weigh in though; my back went out Sunday (yay herniated disk) and I've been unable to work out all week. To top it all off, I've slacked a lot about writing down and about caring if I splurge a little (or a lot) on things I know I shouldn't be having. It's been a frustrating week, and I know the scale is going to kick my butt.

    :?

Don't count yourself out just yet.
I had a week like that and still maintained.
Not a loss but not a gain either.

Thanks Frame. I'd take maintaining this week :)

Oww ... so sorry to hear about your back!!

Maybe your metabolism will take care of you this week, since you've been taking care of it lately.

I can relate to the not being excited about weigh in. I'm dreading it. I've had way too emotional of a week, and I just kinda quit caring. Not -completely- ... but enough that I'm dreading facing the music tomorrow. Being held accountable is rough, when you know you've been bad. I even thought about skipping the meeting, but I know I cant start that pattern. That leads down the path to the Dark Side ... *darth vader type breathing*

See ya there, good or bad!

That's GREAT, Ready!!! I'm glad you were able to cheat a little, but not feel cheated!! That was a terrific obstacle you had to face, and you passed with flying colors!!!! Yay!!!!!

We missed ya yesterday, Buena! Did you go to Dana's ceremony? Tell her congrats for us - everyone at WW!! Her Masters degree WHILE working WHILE being a Mom ... that's just a huge WOW!

Did you go to another meeting last week? We started going over the new program, Momentum, in detail.

The new plan is pretty interesting. I am excited to see what else it has to offer.
BTW lost 1.6 pounds this week....woot!

    How did you do elims?
Are you feeling better this week?
I know you had a rough start to last week.

I'm still intrigued with the new plan, but havent seen a lot of differences ... other than that big 6 cups of "fluids" (not just WATER) difference! That one blew my mind.

I did pretty good ... I have to lose .2 before I reach my 'Next 5' ... but this week is full of lunch with the boss, cooking pies for DH's work lunch, temptations and treats galore. Not sure I'm going to have time to make it to the gym as often as I'd like, either. We'll see. At least I feel better than last week, thanks for asking!!

I was in Plymouth, NC visiting close friends as a pre-holiday I love you all kind of visit. :) It was an OK weekend, but not great as I developed bronchitis last week.

I didn't go to another meeting. I just couldn't find time to accommodate another time. I'll be back this Saturday and hopefully the damage done during last week and this week full of parties and dinners out won't be too horrifying!

I'm looking forward to hearing about momentum in more detail. I've heard mixed reviews.

So what's the difference between the old plan and the new plan? Anything huge?

    nothing too huge.
They took the Flex plan and the Core plan and combined them.
They basically want you to pick more filling foods, make smarter choices, and stuff.
Interesting, but not a "OH MY GOD I HAVE TO GET THAT!"
    kind of reaction.

One of my friends just had her fiance break up with her Monday night, so I'm going back out of town Friday to be with her. I'll go to weigh in tomorrow night (Thursday), and I'm nervous. I've had *no* time to work out, and this week at work has been treacherous. So keep your fingers crossed for me.

OUCH for your friend - will be sending some healing thoughts ... and good luck to you! You're gonna do fine, I know it!

It wasn't "horrible." I gained .8. But I am forcing myself to keep in mind that I haven't been able to work out in 2 weeks, and I've had a week and a half of constant Christmas parties, dinners, etc. Hopefully when I weigh in next week it'll be better.

    How'd you ladies do?

I did better than I thought I was going to do ... lost 2 pounds. Passed my '25' mark ... up to 26.8 pounds lost.
