Caterpillar layoffs...

There has been much talk about layoffs lately and it's all just so horrible! Nice timing on Cat's part :evil:

 

Caterpillar tried all different ways to stay open and pay employees. Just talked to some who were laid off and most really do understand. It is that ripple effect. I would guess that FF's layoff at another corporation was directly tied to Caterpillar's decision.

I don't think we have seen the full impact yet so brace yourselves.

I drove by Caterpillar at about 12:45 PM today and all the local TV stations were setting up their remote vans across NC 42 from the Caterpillar entrance. I am confident there will be news from these vans on the 5:00 PM news.

 

They shouldn't need to depend on me Ms Stalin.

 

Cat Lay Off's

Just heard from a good friend of mine who works @ Cat. He went in today and got laid off. Week before Xmas and with a toddler......... Horrible!!!!!!!!
