Came back from Smithfield before lunch and five, yep, five State Troopers in unmarked cars had vehicles pulled over. On Trooper almost hit me on 70 after trying to get back across. He had no signal on and I was moving to the left lane so as not to bother him sitting on the right of 70. Darn guy pulled onto 70, across 70 (right in front of me) and parked in the median facing Smithfield. I've never seen that before. Anyhow, please drive safely for everyone, Sherry
Were they all pretty, intelligent, young blondes that were pulled over? (Sorry, couldn't resist!) :jester: But if he was driving dangerously put a call in like you did in the other situation you were talking about.
I love that! Nice one! I don't know which one it was. Kind of surprised me at the time because I had never seen anything like that nor did I want to hit him. Thanks, Sherry
I'm curious about something.... Given that the Highway Patrol only has a total of 3 unmarked cars in Johnston County, how could you have seen 5? Sheriff's Dept. doesn't have them except for detectives who don't work traffic anyways. Motor Carrier doesn't have them, and Interdiction doesn't work 70.
I would say that the patrol cars typically come with wheels and they haven't perfected the unit designed to shut the vehicles down at the county line.
Actually lived in Oxford, GA where they filmed the jump in the intro. Also Cooter was our US Representative for that Congressional District, the big Boss Hog shook my hand at one of Cooter's campaign fundraiser BBQ. Haven't washed that hand to this day!
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=46b_1229584508 I am not for the Death Penalty but if I were the law enforcement officer I would probably have capped this guy! Considering the country it occurred in the officer might have!
