For some, December 25 is just another day on the calendar. Are there any restaurants open for business on the 25th? Spare me the "everyone should be home for Christmas" lecture, please. It's a simple query. So, if you know of any restaurants open on Dec 25, pls share.

And I saw a Chinese place in Raleigh that had a sign that they are open at the intersection of Falls of Neuse and Six Forks (I'm sure others are as well, but you probably know about those.)

How about a list of restaurants in the area that serve dinner on Wednesday, December 24? Looks like most are closing early. Mama may have to turn on the oven.

I just saw the sign at the McDonald's at 40/42 saying it will open at 11am on Christmas day (unless I saw wrong..I did forget to put one contact in this morning!).

I did read somewhere that the Huebners, who own the area McDonalds, are opening the 40/42 location on Christmas Day. They are pooling the employees from several locations to open that one. So, the others won't be open, but that one will. I thought that Golden Coral was open either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, but I'm not sure.

    Hat,

I have found that most Oriental restaurants are open as Jewish people have a tradition of eating at them. Call a few to make sure. My ex's family always ate Chinese since they were/are Jewish.

Good luck, stay safe and keep me abreast please.

Tell Mrs. Hat and DD that our family wishes them a great holiday season...oh yeah, we wish you a great holiday season as well.:lol::lol:
