HELP - Local Family needs help

Hello everyone!! Wanted to know who would be interested in cooking more meals to extend the dinner for this family? After talking with the mom today she is still very overwhelmed with taking care of 3 kids, hubby and the household. I know these are helping her more than anyone could imagine.

Girl, you KNOW I don't cook, but would be happy to get a ham, or chicken pot pie (3lbs of food ~ and they are GOOD) or lasagna at the grocery store when I go today ~ I can just drop it off @ your house?

HG's Post just reminded me that we have a bit of Honey Baked Ham left over that we would gladly give to this family. If someone could swing by my place I would gladly put half of it in something for sandwiches or to go with a meal. Cannot get out right now.

Please email or call me, Red, and hopefully we can find someone who can bring it your way.

Jen...I know you don't live out our way but maybe the teen could meet you nearer to our house and pass it off to you...could you get it to Red? We'll put the mus-My Friend in a separate container.

Going to try to reach Red right now. Tried calling you but you are probably busy at the moment. Realize that I live off of 42 East, which I know is not close to you guys. Looks like we can donate around 4 lbs. of the honey baked ham. We just love that ham.

Will get in touch with both of you as soon as possible. I would hate to miss out on an opportunity like this. Had you not made the Post above I would not have thought about the ham. Just two of eating on it and we would love this family to have this yummy stuff.

Thanks. Trying to get in touch with Harley and Red right now to see what can be done. We have the ham ready to go along with sides and mus-My Friend. All can be frozen for up to two months. Forgot about all of this until Harley made her Post.

I mentioned you because I know you come our way sometimes when getting off from work. If HG cannot hook up with me maybe you and my teen can meet when you get off from work so that you can pass it all off to Red, since she and I have met you and you are gooooood people. Like I said, it can be kept frozen if not needed right now. It will go to waste on our end and we would rather this go to Red's needs.

Sorry for being any trouble, just not feeling good enough to go anywhere.

Hi Red, I just moved to Clayton on Monday so if you need any further assistance with meals, please let me know.

My schedule will be a little crazy starting next week since I work and go to school full-time but I'm sure I can figure something out to cook on the weekends.

Thank you for the welcome! I'm so glad moving is over! I'll be even happier when I get Internet and Cable next week. I had to listen to the radio on New Year's Eve to "hear" the acorn drop.
