We actually stayed at Embassy Suites at Crabtree. Ate dinner at Cheesecake Factory, and then had a great evening dancing at the hotel. They did a really great evening. It was all included and we even had a great breakfast this morning. Definitely lots of different folks out there, but it was fun to watch them. All ages, 21 to 65, probably. I think it's a plan for next year.
Well, that sounds cool! My favorite New Years Eve ever was when I was probably 19, before hubby and I were married or had kids, we went with 2 other couples to a bowling alley far, far away from here. They charged like $100/couple to bowl and eat all night (can't remember if drinking was included or extra, but I don't drink anyway so it didn't matter to me). We had so much fun bowling, eating, and them drinking! I don't like to go out now because of the drunks on the road, and no one to watch the kids anyway, but that night sure was fun. I think we ended up getting rooms at the hotel next door so we didn't have to drive, but not sure.
Yeah, it was nice to just not have to worry about anything. Even going across the street to The Cheesecake Factory, the hotel had a shuttle. We didn't have to worry about anything while we were there. I would definitely recommend this to others. We may even do it again next year. We'll invite other couples, they just can't share a room.
